Tvserver3 is needed as 0.2 TV doesn't support transport stream recording/timeshifting. I think you can use it for watching recorded .ts -files without server client installed, but that's not much use for most people.

Tsreader is a filter built into mediaportal, no additional programs are needed. There are probably a bunch of programs named like that. Tsreader -filter is just named so people know what the filter does -> it reads transport stream. We talk about it because it's one of the main components on mediaportal when you're viewing TV.

Seems like I cannot make it work on RC2. I followed the instructions, but no subtitles are shown. Risu, do you have subs in YLE's channels with this?

I am using Vista (Home Basic) and I am using RC2 with SVN 15813 and v7 of the subtitle filter.
Also I am using the modified tswriter.ax to enable the dynamic PID that YLE uses, this way you will get subs in the recordings.

As for instructions they are already there :) I didn't do anything special.
Just remember that with vista the mediaportal.xml that you need to edit is located at C:\program DATA\team mediaportal\mediaportal.xml
This is usually hidden, so you will need to turn hidden folders on.

    Hope this helps

    RC2 with SVN 15813

Okay, stupid question. Where do I find these "SVN"'s?

Edit: nevermind, already found and downloaded SVN 15813.

Now I have to wait for a program which should have subs in it...

What is the modified tswriter.ax you are using and where can I get it?
