New Funktion for MP inside the ProjectX Skin (1 Viewer)

..the order and config of the icons that appears in the basichome would be a great thing.
But that can only do the programmers, with skinning i can not do that.

... yes i have change the button of transparent mode to the basichome button. I have made that because it´s not many place in the topbar.
But i think i can make the volumebuttons at half sice , so i can add the
button of transparent mode also.
What do you think ?

.. because the vmr9 osd, this osd is unfortunately not skinable.
It takes the gfx automatically from the media skin folder.
So the skinner can not change anything in this osd.

Hehe, regarding the "WAF" you're quite important to Mediaportal's success

btw: personally I don't care for volume buttons in Top bar - even if it would work with S/PDIF again

i realy like it.

but is there any way how i can set the "icon view" as standard?
instead of switching to it everytime mp starts.

Edit your shares in config, you can specify the default view there. (e.g. Configuration.exe/Movies/Movie Folders/[your share]/edit/Default view)

That's nothing to do with the skin.

Hi,

.. i think we must ask Frodo if he can implement it in the setup.

That it is so that we can say in the setup with what Sreen mp starts, for normal with the Homescreen or alternate with the BasicHomescreen.

But i don´t know if it is possible to make.

For that we must have in all Skins a basichomesreen i think. But thats no problem i can make such for the other skins to.

I will ask him in irc

Hi Harley,
nice one.. just switched to it because it has the most functionality.
Questions though:

1. Will u implement buttons for the new functions in fullscreen tv?
- there is a new function (only available via remote atm) for switching to the last viewed channel
- Agree made a nice "now on air menu" that appears when u switch a channel via remote or keyboard... but no chance to see it using a touchscreen... :-(

So it would be really nice if u could implement those functions into the skin

here some other things i found:
- when playing music there should always be the possibility to stop it (like in B2 the topbar, could be the bar under the small viz window visible all the time)
- when playing music and going to tv u only see the viz fullscreen. think music should be stopped when watching tv (don't know if possible via skinning but that's how it works in B2 (i think))
- new home screen should be getable as default with the possibility to jump to the old one
