.. Frodo has promised me in July 2005 to integrate the feature into mp that we can start mp with the Basichomescreen.
But he works hard for the last month´s on the TV section, so he have has no time to make the possibilty for this.

I just looked into this feature addition and just finished writing the changes. Of course they were pretty trivial, otherwise I wouldn't be able to do it at all... With the change, you can enable it as follows:

I'll upload the modified files @ sourceforge for inclusion.

EDIT: Just found out the change I made didn't allow for the regular home screen to be shown. It takes a little more work, and requires a change to the skin itself (make the button perform an action instead of activating a windowID). Will keep you posted.

Harley - Had this skin been completed? The reason I ask, Vrokolos in this thread was looking for a horizontal based skin and your Basic Homesreen was the only one that came to mind.

Hi all,

..now you can start mp also with the basichomescreen.

"scoop" has made a patch for mp to make it possible to start with basichomescreen alternate to normal homescreen.

"Frodo" has integrate it now into mp.

..many thanks for this to scoop and frodo.

For using it, you must download latest cvs. In the mp "setup" you find now under "general" a new point "starting with basichomescreen".

Start mp then with the projectX Skin.

Yeah, I saw my patch was integrated (more or less) in CVS about two weeks ago.
But somehow the code to actually switch between the regular and the basic home screen didn't make it into CVS. So now if you enable the basic home screen there's no way to even enter the regular home screen. :?
