WOW That looks awsome. Any way I could release that with the plugin as the official skin for it?

    Hi,
The skin is Black Glass Nova HD, it would only work for users who have that skin, I can try and base the default skin on it as much as I can if you like ?[DOUBLEPOST=1349765312][/DOUBLEPOST]Just a couple more ideas:

    1) Ability to specify which web browser you use to view the videos like an option that passes the url of the video to the browser specified

So in the option I could put something like C:\Program Files\FireFox\Firefox.exe (Then you pass the URL)

    2) It would look nicer if in the description you could remove any hyperlinks from the text as they can't be used in MP Anyway and have no input to the description.

    3) Change rateing to "rating" :)

Again, it's looking good a few more tweaks and I would use it instead of my usual browser and Multishortcut plugin.

    Thanks..

    Dave.

Those are great ideas and the third one i will def do.

The links are embed from netflix and i'm working on the function that pulls them to parse it and strip the tags out.

As far as the browser it actually doesn't use any web browser it uses a webpage display control embed in a windows form. Unfortunately that control is based on internet explorer so Its kinda stuck using IE references.

As far as the skin file I had just assumed it was a new netflixskin.xml file placed in the Black Glass Nova HD directory. I wasn't aware it had dependencies(I haven't done much research on skinning. Just enough to create the default one

Hi Just to confirm even if i add it manualy (<DefualtMonitor>\\.\DISPLAY2</DefualtMonitor>) Its still popping up the player on my Primary monitor.

Just looked into this and have it fixed for the next release (should be out no later then friday only have a couple more bugs to fix) It is a spelling error in the Settings code. The temp fix is to change <DefualtMonitor> and </DefualtMonitor> to <DefaultMonitor> and </DefaultMonitor> (just switch the a and the u in Default) I have confirmed this will work and have confirmed the perm fix for the next release. The down side to the temp fix is that when you reopen the settings window it will rename the Tag to the way it was.

Ok I will look into the sound I wasn't sure if the fixing the monitor would fix the sound or not.

As I mentioned in the last post I will be releasing a new (backward compatible) version of this plugin in the next few days. Every bug reported with the exception of 2 have been fixed. and one of those is more of a feature request. With that I will be marking this next release as stable. I have a couple more items to nail down before teleasing but it should be ready by friday. So that being daid if anyone has any feature requests other then those already please sugest them now so I have time to implement them. Alternatly, if someone has found a bug not already mentioned please let me know so I can get it fixed. Thank you for everyones support and paitence.

    Great news, many thanks JB!

My main issue is that of MediaPortal crashing now and again when escaping out of a playing video. Previously I thought it was linked to clicking the top-left arrow but it's more random than that. I'm still trying to find a cause or at least pointers to a cause so I'll write back as soon as I find something useful. Anybody else had the same problem? Maybe it's just my system. I'll try it on a clean build if I get the time today.

@spacemanc - did you manage to get this plugin working? If not, what's going wrong?

    Cheers,
    Si
