My biggest reason for not using MPBlue is that it's only barely functional right now. I want something fully functional and until MPBlue gets to that point, I'm forced to look at other options.

I looked at the above solution, and MPBlue can do everything it can plus more.. (media library interface etc..)

ok, it can not send keypresses, but it does send actions to MP as defined in the keymap.xml. wich is basically the same, only tighter integrated into MP..
At the time I tried it, the only thing that worked for me was the Music interface. I'm not sure if that's all that works right now, however I really didn't feel it warranted spending more time with.
Now please don't take my comments as an insult or that I don't think what you're doing is cool. It just didn't stand out as something really beneficial for my own use.

But you're right, the channel arrow and PIP button are not reachable by mouse, something insibile is overlapping them and preventing focus. I'll fix that.
Anyway, I'll provide a new installer to you soon...
