[New Plugin] WebServices + Transcoded streaming + Web Interface for TvServer and MP (3 Viewers)

hi gemx,

i just reinstalled mp 1.1 with actual svn. i am using a centralized db for my pictures in a network share which i have configured in your plugin-settings. all is working fine exept the thumbnails of the pictures are not found. if ii click on one the picture opens, but for all pictures the thumbs are missing. where can i configure the path to the thumb folder?

hello

i ave down loaded the files and placed them where you said. inside team media potral dir. Then gone in to tv service config and turn the plug in on. but i don't get a web interface when i look local at my machine? Is there any more install guides?

what do i have to do to stream TV? Get this Error when pressing "TV"...

Thats your point. As described 1k times before in this thread, this plugin is only works with MP 1.1.0 (SVN).
And no, backporting is too much work, as gmex said.

It looks in "%CommonApplicationData%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\Pictures" for the thumbs, which is the default path
Have you changed the thumb file location somewhere and if yes - where?

It looks in "%CommonApplicationData%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\Pictures" for the thumbs, which is the default path

sure i chaned the path because i dont have the mp client installed on my server, only the dbs. could you please make this thumbs path configurable in the next version too?

Bin durch Zufall auf dieses Plugin gestossen und habe natürlich einige Fragen.

Die Installation scheint geklappt zu haben. Ich kann die Webseite starten, Photos geht, bei der Musik kann ich nicht suchen entweder es wird mir garnichts angezeigt oder ich lass die Suchfelder leer und sehe alles. Musik abspielen habe ich garnicht hinbekommen, passiert nichts, aber evtl. erledigt sich das ja mit meinen Fragen

TV, Radio Recordings und Shedules gehen garnicht, kommt 'ne Fehlermeldung. "Unknown Host" und danach noch jede Menge Codezeilen, bin aber jetzt leider @work und kann das nicht weiter beschreiben.


Was muss ich mit diesen Dateien machen ? WebServices.txt und TvServiceWebServices.wsdl.txt

Was ist mit "Player installed on Client" Ist damit der Client gemeint auf dem MPWebService läuft ?
Das würde meine nächste Frage beantworten, muss auf dem Rechner auf dem das Plugin läuft VLC installiert sein ?

1. Those files are for developers only, disregard them.
2. Check that you have the right settings in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\Plugins\MPWebServices\htdocs\Gentle.Config (<DefaultProvider name="MySQL" connectionString="Server=?????;Database=?????;User ID=root;Password=?????;charset=utf8;Connection Timeout=300;" />) Replace the ????? with your settings
3. To stream with VLC, you need to install vlc 0.8.6i on the server(some other versions also work, but not the newest ones)
