My htpc is currently busy, so I cannot test this on low-end systems. But I think the animation is not really slower than a static image, because there are only different parameters for brush textures used, while texture itself stays.Lookin great but I guess that's not really made for low end pc's....
On what machine have you recorded this?

We are not partners with Microsoft, and their support would be required for porting Windows 8.
