New Series Banners aren't downloading (1 Viewer)

Hi, my old banners aren't there but ever since I moved up to RC4 the episodes and info are being updated but new series banners and episodes are not.

i figure this is a bug since I've seen some other recent comments on this, but is there a way i can import the banners manually for now? or change my settings so that the new series banners will start downloading?

I am experiencing this exact problem. Running RC4 as well and started a new database.
Maybe thetvdb.org changed something?

I have the same problem. I've reinstalled MP for over 3 times now in the past hour. The first time I installed "That 70's show" was downloaded perfect. Then I added other directory's but no banners. Now I reinstalled and no Banners even for "That 70's show". But yesterday I reinstalled RC3 and it was the same problem. So I don't know if it has anything to do with RC4.

I also see that the Genre's are not showing.

After I deleted the Banner Cache + deleted the series DB. A reboot. I started the import again but still only "That 70's show" has banners downloaded. other shows I try (Californication, Heroes, Simpsons, American Dad, Family Guy, CSI).
And yesterday everything was fine all these series had banners.

I have the same problem ! I am using MP RC2.

Maybe there is a problem with thetvdb ?

Doesn't do much of anything, does not even show the "Pretty Name" in the list view in TV Series configuration. No episode info, no images, only the MediaInfo stuff.

I have deleted the database, the thumbs, and nothing. I'm going to assume it is an issue with TheTVDB, as the issue started happening with my previous version of MY TV Series before I updated to the SVN.

same problem here, it is downloading the series info for new shows but no banners, SVN of MPTV and RC4 of MP. Only noticed the problem today as I added a new show. Tried wiping db and re-importing all but still fails to d/l metadata

guess it's a widespread problem. maybe something to do with RC4 or thetvdb.com

As far as I can tell its a thetvdb.com issue, I reported it last night and they fixed it for the series I was having problems with.

I guess the plugin should better handle when it encounters a error with the XML so that it doesnt completely stop the import process (will look at that a bit later).

In the mean time, if you can find out what series are failing for you may want to re-save the information online:

Hi Damien,
I can confirm - the update stops always at the same point. After deleting this series from the local DB, it was stopping at another point - so it seems, that several entries are somehow broken.
I think the most inportant thing would be as you mentioned to fix the plugin, so it does not stop when encountering a problem, but instead writing an according entry in the logfile and continue with the "rest of the work". By this it would also be much easier to report broken DB-entries to tvdb by providing the information from the logfiles.

I had that problem today but it seems to be resolved. I added both plant earth and the simpsons to my library for the first time last night. At the time no banners or episode thumbs appeared when the series were imported but now they are both there.
