hi disaster123,

first i just want to use the recordings-db feature of your plugin which is working great. thanks for that!

but why shouldnt i use the episode-part? dont know it, so i activated this too but now i have some problems:

if the script is running all mp clients are hanging (if they are navogating in the tv-plugin section), and in the tv program guide i can see all epg data is gone in one second and in the other second its back again.

second problem is that the script (i am using the actual one) is searching not only for recorded series but for all recordings. is this normal?

third (and biggest) problem: the script just hangs after a few minutes without any error in the logfile. i disabled one pasrer after the other but with no luck

EDIT: it seems that the script hangs if an episode is found in wunschliste or in fernsehserien... if its not found in this dbs and its found in the tvdb its working

never seen any of your problems. Also my script definitly doesn't influence any tvplugin client. Why should it?

Only idea if have for now is:

- please start run_debug.bat and attach your log.txt file here in the forum

ok just tested it again with only tvdb activated... its hanging now at "two and a half men"... attached the debug log.

Just normal thetvdb is really slow

hm what do you mena with really slow? i am waiting now for 30 minutes at the same series... now with the db "wunschliste".

btw: with the old version it was working without this problems, could you upload this again for testing? unfortunately i have overwritten this

sorry don't have any old version - but there was absolutely no change regarding this.

i tried it now many times with different config, even with a brand new mp-db... i always get the same problem: after a few found series it hangs completly without any error in the logfile. it just does not go further on... any hints what i could do?

maybe there are some components which are not working with this. i am using the actual svn of the tv-server on my windows home server. i am still confused abaout this problem because with the old version it works without any hangs.
