Hello Developers,

is this allready in bug list? https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/showthread.php?t=12216

It seems that all TT budget Cards have the problem wether a CAM is installed or not. My Technotrend Budget 1500-S is solo installed and works fine with MP 0.2.1.0 but not with TVEngine 3.

For more informations please look at the link i posted.

Best regards

Aah...i have found the Bugtracker of TVEngine3  and :sorry:

OK, a similar problem like this is in the list and has the status fixed. But it isn't realy fixed for my TT-1500-S Budget without a CAM.

Is there a workaround for TT budget cards until it is fixed in the Sourcecode.

Regards
Muckel

Well muckel, it seems we're out of luck as it doesn't look like this has been entered in the bug list (yet). It is just a test setup for me just now and luckily I still have a 'conventional' MP HTPC that I can use on a daily basis.

Yes AberDino, it seams so. A short information about why it has not been entered to the bug list would be nice.
I hope that we TT budget users won't be left out in the rain.

A new test with MediaPortal-svn--11-07-2006--15-33 and
    tvengine3-11-14-2006--01-11h--Rev11702 failed again.

    - WinXP SP2
    - AMD X2 4400
    - Nvidia Geforce 6600GT PCIe
    - TT-Budget 1500-S PCI
    - no CI/CAM is installed

I've done the test in the fresh installed TVServer under Manual Control wit the TimeS button.

After a click scrambled does change from no to yes with with channel EinsPlus.
But EinsPlus is not scrambled and i don't have a CAM wich could descramble it if it would be scrambled.

I hope the log files help to find the problem.

    Thank you an best regards

    Hmm....

This might be a longshot but i have been suffering from simular problems.

Looking at your configuration.log I see the MPV and MPA codecs poping up....

I think if you reinstall mediaportal with 0.2.0.0 and select NOT to install thoose supplied codecs and then installing the latest SVN you be better of.

Also after applying the SVN my TV codec selection have been BLANK.
I would install Nvidea Pure Video and select that as your video codec...

    Happy hunting!

    Hi,

hmmm, i have make a copy of my MP directory and use it as "stand alone" installation. Whitout the TVserver.

    This works fine.

Why does it work, if i use the tvserver installation with the TVplugin ?

Now i did install all totaly new after uninstalling all previous installation and deleting the database TvLibrary.

Now it works one times. Start TimeS with Sat1 works fine but after Stop TimeS and restart it again the Error No Video/Audio pops up. Then i did stop the Service by the button in the TVServer and restarted it, it works again.

Same problem in TVServer and Mediaportal itself. I did start a recording in MP all seems to work good but the output file is empty (exactly 0 bytes). After stoping the recording and restarting it the same error as in the TVServer occurred.

    No problems without TVServer.

    Logs are attached.

    Best wishes
