I own the Technisat Skystar HD, which should be just equivalent to the S3200 and I am able to tune HD-Channels with TVE with no problems using

- Current Technisat Driver (+App.)
- Technotrend Beta Driver
...

In the meantime I noticed, that tuning of HD-Channels seems to be broken since a few days. It now works for me with the Release 14650 of TVEngine. 14715 < Versions < 14765 do not work. Scanning Astra HD (19.2°) finds no Channels. I tried with all available drivers for the SkyStar HD (TT S3200). Looks like a Bug for me.

Probably my fault as each DVB-S2 card needs different parameters for DVB-S2 modulation since there is no BDA standard for it yet.
I have been messing with the new Twinhan card to get that to work.
More logic needs to be put into the code for the varying card types and new modulation parameters.
Hence the Mantis bug about DVB-S2 tuning.

OK here's an update for y'all...

    1. CoreAVC should now work with H.264 transport streams!!!
    2. DVB-S2 tuning should work fine for Twinhan & TechnoTrend capable cards. I'm still working on Hauppauge support however.
    3. Switching channels from MPEG-2 <-> H.264 video should work however there is still an outstanding issue. See related Mantis 1038.

Use TVServer / MediaPortal SVN14913 or later.

Damn, 3 weeks too late, but I'll still give it a go with my previous recordings and offer my feedback. Well done, many thanks. I think the BBC HD trial could be starting again soon until a public review so hopefully I'll be able to use it then.
