You are right there are an issue. I've been able to reproduce it with the wma files from of the latest CD rips I did on my setup. I have no trouble with all others files - not even the wma files from other my other CD's I ripped the very same day. I suspect it to be an issue with the MP player that don't hold the right information when the files are played, but I cannot say it for sure before I investigate it more thoroughtly. Sadly I have to much work on my desk at the moment but I hope to have the time to look into it next weekend. Some additional information would help. Which player do you use, do you get it all the time or only with certain files as I? Also, which types of files to you encounter the problem with and the stored on a local harddrive, an exernal USB drive or are they access through a WLAN or LAN network?I've installed version 1.5 and it seemed to be ok but I get a 'No media playing' status and no lyrics are shown
Any idea what might be wrong or what I can do to correct this?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, things get broken and fixed now and then when a new release of MP is released. It is not due to bad coding by the MP devs in any way, but simple a natural consequence of a 7-8 year old architecture that isn't fit for changes any longer. The architecture of the future Mediaportal 2 will be much, much flexible and the stability will consequently be improved. Mediaportal 2 will not only ease the life of the end users but also ease the maintance for plugin devs. The future looks very promising!Ok, it works here as well on my 1.0.2 testrig.
It's a pity though that every time that a new version of MP is being released, things break on the existing/stable version which don't get that much attention anymore.
Thanks anyway and you did a nice job on how the lyrics are presented now!![]()
