No OSD when changing channel (1 Viewer)

Also, when pressing a digit to change channel (In my case, pressing 4 gives me RTL 4) used to give me OSD.

Missing here to, forgot that.

Also, sometimes when pressing the back button on my remote (in fullscreen) doesn't put me back in TV-plugin screen with preview, sometimes I go back to main menu or my music (Maybe I listened to music before went to TV, i'm not sure)

Try an play with an older version of ;

plugins/windows/WindowPlugins.dll

I mean, try latest SVN of MP+tvplugin, then downgrade the above DLL to something like 16559 and 16663.

U get this DLL from installing MP.

Is that .dll likely to change between different versions of MP..or TVE3..?? I've checked my old installations, inc. my "favorite" SVN 15362 and it is the same .dll on all..same versionnumber, size, changedate..everything.
Also, this .dll is in the MediaPortal folder, not the TVE3 folder. As far as I can understand (although that might not be very far..), the problem is in TVE3, not MP. This because I can use latest MP SVN as long as I restrict myself to TVE3-versions up to SVN 16559.

I still did as you suggested, replaced the .dll with one from a working OSD-build (16599), but same problem still.

BTW, I use the x-face skin, but behaviour is the same with Blue Two.

If you mean rename your file with a .dll ending and replace the existing file in MediaPortal\Plugins\Windows-folder, no luck..
MP wont start properly, just gives me a black screen with no option but to terminate.

If I drop it in the folder as-is, with the .pdb ending, keeping the original .dll, still no luck..

Although it bothers me a bit why I dont have this problem.

Unfortunately, it's not working for me on today's SVN (16593) and the overwritten tvplugin dll.
I'm running on Nvidia 8800GTS. Some possibly non-standard things for me: Running on Vista Ultimate X64 and software not installed in default dirs. All codecs are ffdshow.

This evening I used the new dll; without any luck.
Installed the SVN from today, OSD still don't work.
Tried the new dll on todays SVN, OSD still don't work.
Deleted MP and TV Client, deleted settings also, reinstalled everything again, still no OSD

I'm using windows Vista 32bit, NVidia 8600GTS, default paths. EVR

Even on channel up and down, the changing channel works, but no OSD is shown.

Maybe my logs tell something interesting. What more info can I give to you?

Just tried to turn EVR off, still no OSD
Codecs are Cyberlink PDVD7

I'm afraid your new TvPlugin didn't help here..

Added my logs in case they might help.
The actions I did after starting myTv was: fullscreen, F8, Y, esc, esc and then exit.

I am using a nVidia 8800GTS card..is this a nVidia-only problem..?

Just saw in this thread that user grubi also reports loosing OSD. He's using a ATI-card so guess it's not only a nVidia-related problem then..
And I was on my way out to buy a cheap ATI 2400..
