Maybe dense or lazy or both, but haven't found an answer.
I seem to have the same question posted in https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...-player-registered-to-play-media-item.134263/ , which has no replies.
Leaving my working MP 1.3 installation completely alone, I installed a new, smallish SSD, new install of W7, new tuner driver, and the 'Spring of 16' MP2.
Tvserver export/import worked perfectly, and 'test channels' and 'manual control' appear to work fine.
But when I go to the MP -> TV -> list of channels, and click any channel, I get the spinning wheel and then a message stating 'no player registered to play media item 'liveX-Y.ts.tsbuffer.
I have searched the documentation and the forum. From http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/2_.../3_Concepts/Player_Subsystem?highlight=player , it appears that I need to load a 'tv player plugin????. Yes? What, how, and WHERE is it?
Thank you.
