MP2 - Spring'16 No player for live tv (Windows 7) (1 Viewer)

I could have missed something, but I think TVsetup is configured properly.
So to repeat:

Tvserver export/import worked perfectly, and 'test channels' and 'manual control' appear to work fine.
But when I go to the MP -> TV -> list of channels, and click any channel, I get the spinning wheel and then a message stating 'no player registered to play media item 'liveX-Y.ts.tsbuffer.​

Just a guess:
Do have all needed VCRedist Packages installed?

I admitted to possibly being dense, but all I've done is this: (and I don't know what , where, or how about 'VCRedist Packages'.

Leaving my working MP 1.3 installation completely alone, I installed a new, smallish SSD, new install of W7, new tuner driver, and the 'Spring of 16' MP2.
Tvserver export/import worked perfectly (plus manually mapped channels to tuners), and 'test channels' and 'manual control' appear to work fine.

So if there is something else I need to install -- please tell me what, where, and how. (especially if installs some needed player)

Hi,
I can only repeat, that MP2 has all packages included and I don't think it's related to that.
Your logs clearly say, that the channels are not mapped correctly. Your channels are imported, but the controler tries to find it on each tuner.
As it seems to be a atsc channel it can not be found on card 1 - 4. Card 5 and 6 fail due to missing mapping.

Please check wiki, how to map channels to cards and show a screenshot, if you think you have done it correctly.
Currently I can only trust the logs and they show nothing about missing software.

Please READ this message. THE CHANNELS ARE MAPPED. Look at the correct time in the logs.

You may have looked at the wrong part of the logs -- as I mentioned above. Here's a part AFTER I had mapped the channels to cards at 15:07:17,665: from MP2-Server > ServerError

After mapping the channels, did you restart the MP2-Server process or reboot the machine?
As for log files, there is a Log Collector icon on the desktop. It will create a zip file with all the logs in order to see what is happening

Yes -- rebooted several times. I used the log collector to get the logs. Obviously in hindsight, I should not have posted log files containing info before I mapped the channels.

If I remember correctly there is a TV Server process for MP1 and if it Auto Starts, it will conflict with the MP2 service...

Surprise to me (probably I don't know how it works). When I go to TVserver Configuration > Channels, select a channel, and click preview -- it works.
But trying to view a channel from within MP2 gets the same error - 'no player registered to play media item 'liveX-Y.ts.tsbuffer.'

If I remember correctly there is a TV Server process for MP1 and if it Auto Starts, it will conflict with the MP2 service...

Nothing in parallel. MP1 is on one boot disk; MP2 is on a separate boot disk, No overlap.
