I've been bouncing back and forth between SageTV, and MediaPortal. They both have their flaws. I like Sage's tv portion, but I like the xbmc portion of Mediaportal.

I don't expect my hand to be held, but zero response to posted issues seems wrong. I've donated money to this project in the past, and did so because I believed in it. Just wish someone would either point out how we get a bug reporting account (the link on the wiki is dead), or someone would pop in here and give us a hint about how to fix this issue. DVB isn't an option where I live and that seems to be the main focus of the dev's.

Underfunded: I feel your pain as I have been ignored for over five weeks on this issue. (as well as everyone else having the same issue) I have gotten the Nvidia Dual TV to work using the non-server based MP just not with the server version. I have thought about going to another HTPC program, but I have just invested so much time and energy into MP. Unfortunately for the faithful MP users who lack programming skills (like myself) we are at the mercy of the developers..... in this case they don't seem to care......

s2jcpete: I have posted this issue in the bug reports forum a long time ago, but it was also ignored and was eventually deleted and I as I previously stated in this post:

"unfortunately instead of taking 30 seconds to acknowledge the issue or provide some help, I received two infractions for "cross posting" I certainly don't want to clutter up the forums, I just want some help...is that so much to ask?"

So not only are we not getting help I have been reprimanded for asking for help. I don't know what else to do or say except....

DEVELOPERS PLEASE HELP US!!!!!

wow. couple more days with no dev response. That is a shame for a project that is supposed to have good support. I think a part of the issue might be that a major force on the project is based outside the US and the DualTV is mostly in the US so they don't care?

I have started to tell people that the 2.2 branch is the American build and the 3.x branch is for outside the US. At least they stopped bugging me for support.

I have playing with ChrisTV and trying MythTV (no love there AT ALL). Also been playing with Vista MCE (came with Ultimate) and it is very cool, but feels like a giant ad. Love the interface, though.

I still wish they would port MythTV to Windows so my hardware would be supported.

So, who wants to take a crack at this with the daily builds? They are spawning a thread for each nightly build of the tv server, so why not post that it isn't working with each new nightly build? Should get (banned|attention) that way.

See the news announcement here:
https://www.team-mediaportal.com/content/view/279/2/

And the forums:
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/tv_server_nightly_builds-f197.html

I'll paper rock scissors someone cause I would have to bring my htpc down to my office daily to do it. Maybe I can do a card shuffle if no one else is interested.

At this point I'm so fed up with the lack acknowledgement/communication I have decided to start using GB-PVR, as it fully supports the Nvidia Dual TV and has client/server capabilities.... (and the support is extremely efficient, despite the fact there is only one main developer vs many with MP) But since I'd really rather use Media Portal.... Although I don't really think it will do much good, I'm willing to post everyday that the each new SVN doesn’t support the Nvida Dual TV. However I think every one who is having similar issues, should do the same. That way its not just one person "whining" about it everyday. The more people that consistently bring it up the more difficult it will be to simply ignore...They asked for feed back, lets all give it to them!

I have the same problem with my two analog cards:
WinFast 2000 XP Expert
AverMedia Studio 303
First one is s/w but 303 is h/w. This issue is for all analog card? SkyStar2 is working correctly... Where I can find a source of tv server? It is in C#??

I have the Compro T750 as well and you guessed it, I have the same problem as everyone else. I have just tried the latest builds of media portal with TV Engine 3. It recognises the card but can't find any channels. As with everyone else, the card works with the bundled software, but not MP. I also couldn't get MCE2005 to recognise it and that's suppose to be compatible with it according to the box. Anyone had any luck yet or responses in other threads they can point me to?

It would appear that i have the same lack of channels found in TV Server..
My channels appear fine in Media Portal Setup, but with TV Server they do not...

(Using a BDA 7162 Hybrid card)
