It's part of the MyBlaster plugin in the plugins\others download directory.
Thx dude, will try them out tonight.@CRasch:
I've often thought about giving other IR devices the Replacement plugin treatment... I actually own a USB-UIRT, though I've never even used it... but I could test for that really easy, so I probably should look at supporting it.
In fact, I will look into supporting the USB-UIRT next week. How's that.
I'll post back when I know something.
Also, there's IR code files attached for your set top box. Give them a try and let me know if they work. If they do I'll include them in the next test release.
Cheers,
Just an update, but this may provide some insight.hey Aaron, I quickly tried the old IR codes in the new folder this morning before I left for work. No luck.Hmmm, I really hope that it's not because of the addition of the speed settings...
What model is your STB, is it from the quick setup list?
Have you tried changing the time between blasting channel digits?
Umm, I can't think of anything else right now ... Gee I hope it's not because of the speed settings I've added... Because so far they have helped people who couldn't use the plugin before ...
I'll have a think and see what I can come up with ... But let me know about you STB in the meantime, and try re-learning the codes ...
Cheers,
The blaster flashes like its supposed to, but I get no reaction from the STB (Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3250). The setup worked perfectly before except for the scheduling issue.
If it might help, I can give you access to the computer by VNC.
If it is some speed setting thats not in the list (I've tried fast, medium, and slow), maybe it can be enabled/disabled by a checkbox?
@elconejito:
I did have a problem some time ago where I had to re-install the driver after unplugging the MCE IR box and rebooting ... Maybe there is something that gets upset inside the MCE IR box...
Sounds like you're back in business now though. Keep me posted if anything else happens.
Cheers,
Nope still not working, but the code I attached are the ones I learned of my remotes for the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2100 and 8300. They work for the 8300 but not the 2100. They are the same codes but I think its the ir receiver in the 2100 combined with the Microsoft blaster. Ether the Microsoft unit (eHome) is not pushing enough power for the 2100 to receive the signal, the 2100 is not sensitive enough for the Microsoft receiver blaster, or some sort of combination of both. I don't think its your plug-in but if you want to try something else? Let me know? I'll try to put as much input as I can to help out.@CRasch:
So is it working for you now? What codes are in the attached zip? Working ones, or not working ones? Are they from the 2100 or the 8300?
Cheers,
