Is there an easy way to remap a different key on the remote to the "P"?
That would solve the problem too.

i need the mediaportal.log.

and could you please try with the attached debug version of Core.dll?
it should give me some line numbers, where the code fails.

Same deal here. I attached the logs which has some references to threading issues.
Using RC4. Just did a clean install for some other reasons

as i said above, i need mediaportal.log and not error.log.
And preferably tested with the debug version of Core.dll attached above

Sorry didn't have time to read through the topic. I'll test some more and report back.

Works a little better now, the back button is still responding. However trying to stop the music doesn't work (by remote or keyboard). When pressing stop (from basichome, monochrome) the nowplaying window (that shows coverart etc.) does dissappear but the music keeps playing.
I copied the Core.dll you provided and replaced it (after renaming original one)

I presume because when he presses 'p' it works fine unlike when he uses the remote?

Well at the end of the day it is again an action that comes from the remote. and this is causing you troubles.

with this core.dll the remote works as it should (playlist instantly generated, first song is playing, info/cover is shown... perfect) except for the number button which still don't do anything if i press them. anyway a big thanks to you! i'm happy with it now

But hey it works now. Didn't test the number buttons yet but I'm already happy with this sorta functionality.
