One Button Random Music? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

As I've said before this is a great plugin. I do seem to get a problem with the wrong thumbnail being used in now playing. What I did:

1) Run MP and browse to my music
2) Select a song to play.
3) Goto now playing screen and all is ok.
4) Stop music and go back to MP homepage.
5) Press play button in order to play 100 random tracks.
6) The now playing screen has the correct thumb on the disc but on the window it has the previous tracks album cover I was playing. Even when I skip to the next random track it still has the same thumbnail.

Hi can't get your plugin to work, either using 'P' on keyboard or remote.

I have the latest plugin but i also have Medialportal 1 (Final), is your plugin now intergrated and if so how do you set it up?

No, the plugin is not integrated in terms of being part of MediaPortal.
you need to download it and install it in the plugin\process folder. don't have mp here on this machine, so the folder name might be different.
then it'll show up in the plugin section of Configuration and you can configure it.

Yes i have also doen this as i thought that may be the case, installed , enabled and setup correctly (i think) however still no response from either remote or keyboard.

Any ideas?

So it appears in the MP config\plugins\process window and is enabled (it will only let you config it enabled), I have then just enabled the play 100 random songs and in the dropdown box selected to see playlist.

Have you definately put the plugin in the process folder and not the windows one.

Hi, first of all: great plugin !, thank you for making it.

I have two questions/suggestions that i a different form did come by before, but were (for as far as I could find) not awnsered:
1. Is it possible to make this plugin also work in My Music itself (not just from the home screen)
2. Is it possible to remap the 'p' or numeric commands (also neccesary i think if 1. is made possible)
3. Is it possible to just select a random album instead of a playlist
