According log, you placed it in plugins\windows.

As Paranoid Delusion said in his post above, it shoud be in plugins\process.

Move it and try again please.

Hi, first of all: great plugin !, thank you for making it.

I have two questions/suggestions that i a different form did come by before, but were (for as far as I could find) not awnsered:
1. Is it possible to make this plugin also work in My Music itself (not just from the home screen)
2. Is it possible to remap the 'p' or numeric commands (also neccesary i think if 1. is made possible)
3. Is it possible to just select a random album instead of a playlist

what advantage you would have in using it within myMusic?
The whole motivation for this plugin was, to start music WITHOUT being in mymusic.

re 2: that would require to add keyboard mapping to the plugin, nwhich is a bit of an overkill

re 1: It's definetly not a biggy, but I'll try to explain it a bit.
My girlfriend (and I) like to have My Music playing Albums on the background the entire day while she works behind the desk. Until recently we used my own (for the rest far inferiour) mediacenter application, and she liked it very much that she could press a button and a random album would start playing in a "now playing look-a-like" screen, whenever she didn't like the album anymore she just skipped to the next random album. This being alternated with selecting specific songs every now and then, all from within the same interface.

re 2: Only asked since the 'p' (and numbers) are allready being used in mymusic and for 1. to work without using functionality in mymusic it seemed nessecary.

re 3: That would allready be great.. thanks in advance.

After upgrading to 1.0 I have not installed this plugin, but I wanted to tell about a incident I had (no logfiles, but I guess it is easy to reproduce):
- Play TV
- Pause TV
- Enter homescreen (TV in preview/windowed mode)
- Hit play
- TV-plays - and music as well. Nothing in "Now playing" - so no way to stop it.

Sorry for no logs. This was done by my 4yo., and she got kinda eager to get stuff to work

hi,

last week i upgraded to the final mp 1.0 version. with this version your plugin isnt working any more

1. if i press play on my remote mediaportal crashes completly
2. if i press "p" on my keyboard mp jumps to the "now playing" window as configured, but mp uses my last playlist i have played, no new 50 sngs are added and shuffeld. even if i delete all songs in the actual playlist, after pressing "p" its there again.

could you help me? in the mediaportal.log there are only 2 entrys according your plugin:

this plugin was written for 1.0 and it works perfect for me and for other users.
there must be something else wrong.
do you have other 3rd party plugins enabled? try to disable them.

hi,

i have disabled all plugins now, still have the same error. any other hints? i am really wondering because your plugin worked fine with all the last versions of mp (rc1 to rc4).

Just a feauture request;

Would it be possible to have game/watch/music/extra menu's also react to the play key? You're probably familiar with them but if not these plugins are provided with some skins like Monochrome for example

The problem is that you are using the PureAudio plugin.
The fixed Core.dll contains a fix in BassAusio, which you are not using, snce you enabled PureAudio.
i notified already symphy, what needs to be done on his side, but don't know, if he did the changes. at least he didn't reply back and i haven't seen him for a while in irc now.

try to disable PureAudio and use native BASS and you'll see the problem is gone.
Please get in touch with symphy to fix the issue for you. he shoud know what is to be done.
