But the strange thing is, that the tag info of my mp3 files is not displayed. It says: no info available (translated from Dutch). If go to my lyrics plugin they will show up. If I go the music section, everything is normal too. So this plugin does something wrong, I think.

Anyone else having this behaviour?

Why should the plugin do something wrong?
It just starts playback. Nothing else.

I investigated this further. Still got the same issue!

I used several skins (default, maya, backdrop, nova), same result.

Tried rescanning my music database, and I tried my old database from mediaportal 1.12. Same result.

What I do notice is, that the tag info is displayed for about half a second, and after that I get the message: no info available (translated from Dutch). And it only happens when I use this plugin.

My plugin settings are: load 1000 songs from database, and use now playing screen.

Maybe anyone?



Extra info:

When I disable "now playing" in plugin config, I get my tag information. If I switch to "now playing" inside Mediaportal, my tag info is gone again. Weird bug. Normal playback of music, no problems.

Hi.

Just started testing MP 1.2 Beta today (very good it is too!!) and installed One Button Random Music. My previous issue (as mentioned above by kjarrig) is now working and tracks play continuously throughout a playlist. Cool!!

However, I'm seeing the same as CypherMK whereby Music shows "no info available" in Now Playing screen. I'm using the default wide skin, adding 100 tracks to playlist from database. I also tested with MP in both Play mode or Playlist modes, just in case. Same issue with both settings.

Another slight difference between an OBRM created playlist and a normal playlist is that song duration isn't displayed in the list. So then I tried manually adding another track to the end of the 100 random playlist created by OBRM. When playing that extra track it displays all info perfectly in "Now Playing" and shows track duration in the playlist.

Very odd indeed. If I can provide any more info let me know.
