Is there a specific rule I need to add for 720p files, im using the latest build.

Yes, this is known, for 720p go into string replacements and add:
720p <space>
make sure its enabled and you run before checkboxes are ticked. Oh and delete the episodes in question an re-import.

Im a little confused, is the idea to remove the "720p" string from the filename before the match?

And if that was true wouldn't I replace ".720p" with "<empty>" ?

Yes, but it doesnt matter much if you use <space> or <empty>.

Yes, I think the problem comes from the mkv container, but I could be wrong. This is a MediaInfo problem.

Yes, pain in the ....

Not so much requesting again, but keeping the languages seperated in case a language specific banner shows up at a later date. Not sure if you understand what I mean. But I'm trying to get it done over the next few days.

Ehh... not really.

I don't like the decission szsori and polargeek made, but we have to live with it. In my case I just upload some german banners, but only for the shows I added recently... the older ones still have the english banners. But new german users currently will have a very sad picture of your plugin with all the "missing" banners.

Are you planning to request english banners only if there are none in the selected language? This could lead to some bad stuff... take "Grey's Anatomy" for an example. I added two german banners since I added GA to my database these days, but I'd prefer some of the english banners. If the request wouldn't take english banners if it gets one in the matching lang, I couldn't get the banners I'd like to have. If szsori add's auto-generated non-english banners (writing translated titles on blank banners), this would even get worse and really ugly.

In addition I sometimes prefer the blank banners... this would mean that there had to be a third request to get those.

Nice to hear that you're working on the specials-stuff... although I don't have any of them.

Keep up the good work and I hope that you find a good solution for the banner issue.

I think it would be the best solution if we could have this optional - like "No banner in your language? Get default (english) one? yes/no" (checkbox). If the user ticks the checkbox on the plugin should do a second query if there weren't results to the first (language-specific) one. Of course this shouldn't happen if the users language is set to English... And if you update the informations (I think this was what you, Inker, ment) it would still look for the language-specific banner.

Would there be any reason why my Sopranos Epsiode 6x20 is no longer being picked up after Importing.

I was previously having a problem where 6x20 was being shown as 6x21 because 6x21 was in 720p. I then added the replacement rule for 720p and removed the reference to that file in the list and re-ran the import.

Now 6x20 is missing, do I need to delete the database as well?

Note: 6x20 is titled: the.sopranos.s06e20.hr.hdtv.xvid-nbs.avi

and 6x21: the.sopranos.s06e21.720p.hdtv.x264-nbs.mkv

I see everything upto 6x19, 6x20 is missing and then I can see 6x21.

Any news on these 2 bugs:

What I have seen on the screen, that instead of the list of the views (All, Favourites, etc) all it said was "Missing label".

moving left and right to select another view usually fixes the second one for me.

I also see this problem, when coming out of Standby then entering My TV Series. Left and Right resolves the issue.

Using latest SVN release and RC1.

New SVN build (v0.9.9):
- lots of SQL cleanUP (feels faster and should have sqeezed some weird behaviour) but there is the risk or some new bugs)
- localized banner handling (will also get english banners) - random banner option will prefer localized ones though
- logo templates (should be much easier to get you started with logos now)
- better and unified caching (also for logos now) - this is mostly speed related
- more subtitle formats recognized (+ autoupdated) for field AvailableSubtitles
- hopefully fixed the bug where if a subfolder of your import folders was inacessable it didn't get any files from that folder at all
- included new default string replacements to handle 720p etc in filename (you only get those if you start over)
- hopefully smarter MI handling (+ updated dll to latest version)
- smart Specials handling (Specials as a Season + inline Sorting of Specials in regular Seasons to where they aired)
- couple of other little bugs and stuff + code cleanup + stuff I forgot
- Zeflash: auto-renaming of views if in translation file
- Zeflash: DialogMenu rework with submenus
- Zeflash: Newsgroup downloading
- Zeflash: customization of DB location (so you can try to have this on a server if you really want to) -> totally not recommended, untested and unsupported!
- Zeflash: lots of other stuff I don't really know about

This build should be pretty solid and I really really wanna get this out as the new stable build. So please send your updated translation files as soon as you can so they can be included. Updated english is provided here for your reference. Translations as up to date as I have them are available here. So take these as a starting point. Somebody also do german for me pls.

Now, as always this should work with existing databases, but it's best to start over, especially for the banner handling. For this reasons I started doing something that can backup your watched flags, so you can reimport them later. But thats not done yet in this build.

Unless something MAJOR is broken with this build, it (+ im/export of watched flag) will be v 1.0 to be released ASAP.

Edit: Well after some more testing, it is kinda buggy, but small and easy to fix things, but I'm too tired now.
