If all goes well this will be the new stable release and released as v0.8 as soon as a few people tested it and found it to be stable (for a couple of days).

Works fine for me. Only issue I had was the selection of the french banners when I went to the config, but I cannot swear if this occured now or if I missed to change them with the last version. :/

Successfully renamed the views and I'll check disabling in a minute. If I don't post something different it'll work for me, too.

Edit: No real problems, but have you tried to disable all views? Funny result...

Actually I have not, but not much should happen. I think you'll get an error in the log and an empty screen, correct?

I got this error by accidently clicking enabled under define views without typing a name in. Just clicked continue and it didn't crash though.

Thanks for the update. The only "problem" I have is that My TV Series shows twice in the main screen. Shows ok in simple home.

Any thoughts on this? Does the same in B2W and Revision.

I only know of two reasons this can occur

1) you have two dlls in the plugins directory (did you perhaps rename the older one?)
2) you have very few items to display in the home menu, so it'll look like 2 entries but its actually just the same one displayed again (because the menu "loops").

Do you also have two in the plugins config screen? That would indicate reason 1.

Otherwise I don't really know what could cause this....

Somehow ended up with MP-TVSeries(2).dll in the directory. Thanks.

odd thing, I just reinstalled windows xp on my computer, downloaded Media Portal and innstalled that, downloaded MP-TV-series stable version, innstalled it too, worked perfectly, but then when I was innstalling the SVN version and entered media portal config, it said:

"An error occured while loading the plugin MediaPortal.GUI.Video.TvSeriesPlugin.
It's incompatible with the current MediaPortal version and won't be loaded."

Something I did wrong or?

did nobody reply to this guy? i experienced the exact same issue with SVN of this plugin until i realised i would possible need the SVN version of Mediaportal as well

New update with some minor things (moving towards a stable release)
- performance improvement for logos engine (should help especially for "Latest" view)
- Season 0, which is being used for specials, is now displayed as "Specials". If your configuration is set up to Display either Season 0 or <Translation of Season> 0 it will be replaced with Specials. Note: Your files need to be named as if it was Season 0, eg "Series - 0x1 - Special 1.avi". Also ordering within Seasons/Episodes of special episodes is not yet implemented
- Language change did not always correctly update items due to a stupid mistake
- other minor things

What I need:
Translations for "Special" (singular) and "Specials" (plural). German too.....as I'm not sure what the generally accepted term is for it (ich sag auf deutsch auch einfach Special)

Edit: Oh, and perhaps somebody could update the wiki. It'd be nice to have an up-to date wiki, the current page is a bit outdated.
