and-81 - i just installed this plugin and i think it's fantastic!
i had a really mashed together script using mceirplay and a clunky windows script to turn my tv on or off... and thankfully your plugin does everything i need it to and does it SO elegantly, so my crappy script is officially retired

Just tested it. Learning functions okay. I got it blasting correctly too, using the "test" function within serverblaster! But when trying to change channels manually in tvserver, it says "unable to create graph".

This is what the log contains:

BTW I see I am able to select "predifined" Set Top Boxes. Would you like my STB as a predifined too? And how can I give the information to you?

I've started looking at this problem, it is the same as what Matthias has found. But it is in the TV Server version of the plugin in your case.

I have not reproduced it myself yet. But I will keep trying...

Could you try mucking around with the configuration of the plugin and see if there's anything you can do to fix it? If you come up with anything let me know, and likewise I'll keep trying to sort it out at my end.

As far as including your set top box in the Quick Setup list...

If you send me your IR files and the ExternalChannelConfig.xml file then I'll be able to include it in future versions. Even just the type of set top box is a help, because I can look it up on RemoteCentral and try to get codes for it there. Of course if there are no codes for it on RemoteCentral then I need your learned ones.

MCE remote sensitive (double steps)

Hi,
First. Thank you for a great work!
When I'm using my MCE remote to navigate up/down in the menues of Mediaportal latest VCN it's taking 2 steps in the menus. Not 1 step as intended.
Is it possible to tune this?

Hi Mikael,

It sounds like you need to disable MediaPortal's built in support for the MCE remote.
In MediaPortal setup go to "Remote", "Microsoft MCE", and Uncheck "Use Microsoft MCE remote or keyboard".

You also need to remove the replacement driver mappings if you are not using the replacement driver. You do this by going to the plugin setup and clicking on "Map MCE Buttons" and then clicking "Remove replacement driver mappings".

Can one (or both) of you send me your full MediaPortal.log (or tv server log file). I think I might have tracked the problem down, but I'd like to be sure. I'll put a test copy on this post once I have it done and get you to test.
