Oh!! Looking at the logs, I found out that i mapped ir signals to the wrong tvcard. Setting them to card2 as they should be didnt make any difference, though. I attach my new logs, just to be safe that nothings changed:

After beeing in more direct contact with and-81, he found that the TV3ReplacementBlaster for the tvserver and the MCEReplacement driver for MP were interfering with each other in a way. Being 03:00 in Australia he had to go to bed now, but it will be worked on as soon as possible, he told me.

He also told me that if I needed it right now, I should stick to the normal mce mp driver and I have it working with the serverblaster found in the thread here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/showthread.php?t=12236

I'm sure and-81 will report himself, when he's had the sleep he needed.

Hey all,

I've done some work on the channel blasting aspect of the plugin. Hopefully it's fixed now. 0.2.1.0 users will see a slightly different configuration screen for External Channels, I have disabled the multi-STB interface in the 0.2.1.0 version to avoid confusion and setup problems. There are SVN and 0.2.1.0 versions included.

If a few people can test the attached version of the plugin and get back to me as soon as possible with either a "Yes, it works", or "No, you've just wasted my time" then I'll either post it to the download site or get back to work fixing it.

There's also a fix for Message Mode in this version, and I've included MCEReplacementTray in with the plugin.

In my configuration with the new tvserver and mp running on the same box:

New plugin and other serverblaster = partly working

New plugin and new TV3ReplacementBlaster = not working

You're one hardworking guy, Aaron... Sad I cant help you with nothing but testing. But keep it up!

can i put in a feature request? i'm planning on using this plugin to send a command to my amp to switch on or off a second speaker set when i press the green button on the mce remote. easy to do with your plugin but, i'd love it if there was an option to have a configurable osd text display - what i mean is - when i hit the green button and it blasts the ir command out, it also pops up with a quick box on the mp screen saying something like "outdoor speakers toggled".
what do you think- would this be a useful option?

Have you seen the dialog popup for when you change Multi-Mapping inside Mediaportal ? I could put in a Macro command called "Popup" and have it show a user defined text message? What do you think?

When I'm using my MCE remote to navigate up/down in the menues of Mediaportal latest VCN it's taking 2 steps in the menus. Not 1 step as intended.

Hi Mikael,

It sounds like you need to disable MediaPortal's built in support for the MCE remote.
In MediaPortal setup go to "Remote", "Microsoft MCE", and Uncheck "Use Microsoft MCE remote or keyboard".

You also need to remove the replacement driver mappings if you are not using the replacement driver. You do this by going to the plugin setup and clicking on "Map MCE Buttons" and then clicking "Remove replacement driver mappings".

@Everyone:

If anyone has tested the Test Version 1.0.1 a few posts above, can you please post back with your MP Version (0.2.1.0 or SVN) and tell me if the External Channel Changing is working... I will release this version on the download site as soon as I know that it's working for both 0.2.1.0 and SVN users.

The feature you requested is in, I've tried it out myself and it seems to work. I'll include it in the next release of the plugin, which will be soon.
