Re: [plugin] "My NetFlix" Plugin with Watch Now Support

:( I have tried everything, I can not get it to work. I still get a netflix screen that says invalid movie when I try and play a instant view. If I try and add the movie to my instant queue I get a mynetflix error that says error adding moive to instant queue. Someone please help.

Re: [plugin] "My NetFlix" Plugin with Watch Now Support

Hello All. I love the plugin. It might be the reason I get a Netflix subscription.
However, I have a similiar issue with invalid movie message. Here are the details: Windows XP SP3 . MP 1.02 and MyNetflix 1.2. BlueThree Wide skin.

I have autoscripts enabled. If I use the built in browser I appear to get the invalid movie message regardless of movie selected. If I use IE (IE 8), the movie will play as expected, and even go to full screen automatically, however, the expected autokeys work (i.e. CTRL -E doesn't stop the movie and does not return to media portal). This is a huge problem since I must manually kill all of the processes involved and basically start over.

Any thoughts what I might need to do?

    Hey plampasso,
Im not sure what to ask you to try next... Can you describe your setup in detail for me? Configuration? Did you configure a main account & sub account? Autokey scripts enabled? Can you see your queue's correctly?

    Thanks

    Hey Bjdonato,
Have you tried hitting the stop button? The stop button should close the browser and close the autokey scripts. Try that and let me know if it doesnt work...

    Thanks,
    Wile E.

Edit: Okay guys, try this test DLL and see if it helps cure the 'invalid movie' issue. Unzip and copy the file to your MediaPortal/Plugins/Windows folder. This DLL also fixes an issue trying to play movies directly from the TOP picks. Try it out and let me know if it helps.

    Edit: Removed attachment...

Stop button has no effect, however I am using LMkeymap program, so perhaps I need to map the Stop button to something? What should I map it to. I would have thought that CTRL-e was the answer but CTRL-e doesn't work when I use a keyboard.

Thanks so much for all your help and efforts!!

Okay, if you have time, try the dll in the post above and configure it to use the custom browser. Then try the stop button again (and also check to see if the 'invalid movie' issue is gone.)

    Thanks

    Thanks Wile
That dll file worked great, everything works perfect using built in browser.
    Thanks so much.

Fantastic, now if that fixes Bjdonato's issue we should be good to go :)

Thank you. Test had good results. I tested only using the internal browser with the following results - Invalid movie message is gone. Movie sucessfully goes to full screen. Stop button stops movie and closes the browser. However, mediaportal does not reappear. Also, in several trials, MediaPortal crashed multiple times during the startup period. I don't know that this is related and a more proper test would be to start the entire process from a clean reboot.

But initial testing is good!!! Thank you so much!

Most that have had this issue was due to MediaPortal being set as 'On Top'. If it is checked, try to uncheck it and see if that helps.

Regarding your crash issues, I would have to review your logs to see if it was associated with this plugin.

    Thanks
