Re: [plugin] "My NetFlix" Plugin with Watch Now Support

Hello I have Windows 7 64bit MP 1.1.0 R-4 Netflix plugin 1.2. When I try and watch Instant movies I get a netflix screen that says not a valid movie. I can watch it and it works if I go to netflix with my internet browser. When I first loaded the netflix plugin I never used this computer for netflix and after I selected a instant watch movie it went to a screen that asked for my account and password, except I could not type it in my a key would not work only while I was at this point in the plugin it works fine every other time. I then went to my IE and loged into my netflix account and it worked fine and I choose to remember my name and password but now I get not a valid movie. I did authorize the netflix account and it says I am a authorized user. I also tried and use my browser as a viewer insted of the built in one but with the same result. I wanted to try and uninstall and reinstall manually but cant find away to unistall the plugin so I can try again.
Thank You
Paul Lampasso

    markb & plampasso,
I watched a movie last night and just checked the plugin again, none of my movies are giving me the error. I dont think it matters, but are both of you using RC-4?

    Thanks,
    Wile E.

Edit: Also, please give me some examples of specific movies that are not working... Thanks

None of the instant views work through the plugin. The Proposal, Seven Pounds ect but they work through my IE outside of MP. How can unistall so I can try and reinstall. Yes I am using a new install of MP 1.1.0 R-4.
    Thanks

Hmmm... I just tried both those movies and they are working for me.

To uninstall, you can delete the three files in the Plugins/Windows folder (ClrExtensionsCore.Client.dll, MyNetflix.dll, and WrapNetflix.dll) and delete the MyNetflix database. Could you also clear your logs, reproduce the error and zip them up and post them?

Which version of MyNetflix are you using?

Last night instead of the "not valid movie" it went to the login screen instead. For some reason certain letters on my keyboard wouldn't work within the plug-in. What I did was to exit MP entirely, launch IE, login directly with it, launch the MP config and reauthorize the user. It worked after I did that for all the movies, at least for last night. I am using RC-4.
The videos I originally tried were Dexter season 1, Xena season 1, Ink, Saturday Night Live (forget the seasons). As of last night they work.
I am using the latest Mynetflix on a fairly recent clean install. I used the installer and not the zipped version.

I have tried both versions 1.1 and 1.2 of mynetflix both with same problem. I just tried the fix above but did not work for me. I have the log but which log do you want me to post, and what part of it?
    Thanks for helping.

Zip them all up and post them. Please don't post partial logs, complete logs only.

    Thanks

On occasion I have had my plugin lose the link to my Netflix account. When that happens anything with episodes gives me an "invalid movie" message. If I try to open an actual movie, I get the login screen. Since the hotkey script is running, some letters on the keyboard are remapped and therefore don't work for entering my email and password to the login screen. If you pause or stop the script in the tray you will be able to type and re-associate your account.
