Full Screen Mode?

Hi,

Can you tell me what I am experiencing is correct? When I watch a movie in Netflix, it opens the IE Kiosk in maximized mode, but if I don't want to see the title bar of the window, the scroll bar & the task bar, I have to use a mouse to click on Netflix's "Full Screen" button. Then it looks like it should.

Am I missing something? Or is that the best we can get with Netflix's limited API support?

Though it appears to work correctly so far, it almost looks to me like part of the skin is missing...

I'm using v1.3 on a fresh install of MP 1.1.1 w/ StreamedMP 1.4.3

That's what mine looks like too. There's no "Menu" option over on the side or anything. I'm assuming something is broken here, especially after looking through the ReadMe.

If you press left or right, the menu will display. At least for me...

If you look at the attached pic from MP-TV, it looks like the black background on the lower half is missing which is what I'm talking about. It's very hard to read over the fan art without it

When you scroll over the episodes, does your fan art disappear? That's what happens to mine, and then if I stop scrolling over them the fan art doesn't return.

If I use the mouse, the coverart disappears but that's normal as the menu loses focus. (The fanart does not disappear.) As long as something is highlighted in the menu, then yes, I have coverart and fanart (if available).

The only issue I have found that I don't consider "normal" is the missing black background at the bottom...

How do you get this plugin to work? I'm using MP 1.1.1.0 and I've tried it with SteamedMP, PurevisionHD, etc. I can go to the Netflix area but the screen is pretty plain, no graphics, just some text. I can access a menu on the left and scan movies, get details, etc, but I can't play anything. I have a Netflix account and I've linked the account in MP.

Okay, I went to my Netflix account on their website and added some movies to my instant queue. I would think the plugin should do this, but I can't. Now these movies show up in MP and I can click them for the details, but when I click again, nothing ever happens.

BTW, I can watch the movies on the Netflix website with a browser.

I don't know if this is how you are supposed to have to do it, but to watch something, I have to click the "i" button and pick play from the menu.

Also, as others have mentioned, if you hit the left arrow button on the remote while in the plugin, it should bring up the main menu. From here you should be able to manage your queue, etc.

Hey guys,
I am sorry you guys are having skin issues. Unfortunately skins change CONSTANTLY, so it is very difficult for me to keep up with all the skins.

I am currently working on V2.0 of this plugin, but progress has been slow due to sickness, work, holidays, etc... The goal for the next version will be for the skinners to take care of their skins for this plugin. I will no longer be creating files for each skin. I will of course provide support for the Blue 3 and Blue 3 wide skins.

As for the issues you guys are having currently, please ask the skinners to look at the issues and have them resolve. I have little or no time to keep up with the plethora of changes to the many, many skins... Sorry If someone would like to resolve, or has already resolved, please feel free to share your xml files with the group.

I'm using a mini keyboard those doesn't have a stop button...is there a way to map one of my keyboard buttons as the stop button? Otherwise there is no way for me to get out of the IE window and back into media portal (at least, not one that I've found)
