Re: [plugin] "My NetFlix" Plugin with Watch Now Support

i thought I posted this question, but I can't find it or an answer now. Forgive me if this is duplicative.

When I try to play a streaming movie, it is not in full screen. I have to pull the keyboard out and click on "Full Screen" in order to watch the movie.

Also, I don't think the backwards and forwards work, like it does in WMC. This is crucial in order to get the spouse to adopt it.

Can you please speak to these issues?

Thanks,

kazoo

Can you describe your system for us? Are you running dual screens? If so, then the issue is the Autokey script (It doesnt work on an Extended Monitor.) If not, then it doesnt sound like the Autokey script is running in the background. This could be due to the checkbox "Disable AutoKey Scripts" is checked in the My NetFlix config.

I run a Core 2 Duo Intel board, HDMI out to an Epson 8350 projector. Audio is S/PDIF to a receiver. There is no second monitor. When I get home, I'll take a look at the My NetFlix config and see what is there.

To clarify, are you saying that both the full screen problem and the skip forward and backward issues are not supposed to be an issue?

    Thanks,

Correct. Neither should NOT be an issue if you are running a single monitor.

Something else to check: See if there are two red 'N' icons in your system tray when a movie is playing. If so, then the autoscripts are running, but something else is blocking them from executing (i.e. another auto script of some kind.)

    Update...

    Hey guys/gals,
Progress has been slow due to other projects, work, etc, but my timeline is to have the My Netflix 2.0 (beta version) done by the time the MP 1.2 Beta is released (sometime in February.) The current My Netflix 1.3 version will NOT be compatible with MP 1.2 Beta and instead of spending time getting My Netflix 1.3 to work, I am focusing on getting 2.0 finished in time for the MP 1.2 release.

    Considerations...

I have been working on the Instant view part of the 2.0 and I was wondering a few things.

    1. Does anyone use the multiple users in the Instant view area?
    2. Does anyone use sub accounts?
    3. Does anyone use the 'My Ratings' screen?
    4. If there is any other part/portion folks think is not worth while please let me know.

    Thanks!
    Wile E.

    I don't use it.

I'll have to review the interface again to see if there is anything else.
Mostly what I use is the instant queue, new instant releases, the "view similar titles' feature.
But I'll look again and see what I might not be thinking of

All I use is a single user instant view. No searching, no viewing what I have at home, etc..

I would be nice to have a refresh button. I add movies on my iPad and then can refresh without leaving MyNetflix.

Thank you for all your hard work.

    @all,
Thanks for the feedback. I will continue on with the current features in 1.3 (other than maybe the Rating queue.)

I would be nice to have a refresh button. I add movies on my iPad and then can refresh without leaving MyNetflix.

    RockJock,
I will look into this, but last time I tested it took up to 10 minutes before some of the movies I added to the instant queue via outside the MP interface showed up (This has to do with Netflix syncing queues.)

    1. No
    2. No
    3. No, but I should look at it
    4. Personally I only use the instant viewing related options
