Im not sure what the netflixmain.xml file is for, the skin files are MyNetflix.xml & MyNetflixDetails.xml. In what situation do you need the netflixmain.xml file?

I was looking for it based on the install directions.

Instructions (PLEASE READ):
1. Install the latest .NET Framework 3.5
2. Download the latest MPI version of MyNetFlix Plugin Below. You can get older versions here
3. Read the Readme.pdf file (At least the configuration part)
4. Double click on the MPI file and it will prompt you to install.
a. If you use the Streamed MP Skin, be sure to add it to the basic menu (NetFlixMain.xml is the name of the file)

The correct name of the file is MyNetflix.xml

I'm really excited about getting this plugin installed, but am having difficulties (StreamedMP). When I went to install it today (I assume it was 1.0.0) there were a couple issues. The zip file only included one file, a .mpe1 extension (the MPInstaller). There was no readme.pdf so I could not follow any other instructions.

I used MPInstaller to install it - I did 'authorize' and it said user is authorized. However, during the authorize process, first it opens netflix site with credentials section and popup box asking if credentials had been entered. After selecting yes / no, an uncaught exception is thrown. I said continue anyways. I created user and set as default.

I then opened StreamedMPEditor and added myNetflix to the menu.

However, when I go to open it, nothing happens. It simply reloads the home screen. Any ideas what is going on?

Great plugin. I have a couple questions/issues. Just installed My Netflix 1.0 on Media Portal 1.0.2.0. I am using the aMPed skin on a crappy old tube monitor as it's the best skin I have found for readability on SDTV. When I installed the Netflix plugin, the .xml files didn't copy into the aMPed skin folders. I copied the files from the Blue3 skin folder but its not perfect. Is there an aMPed skin specifically for My Netflix? Next issue is Instant Queue only shows the top three movies in my list. My DVD Queue shows all movies in my list. Is there something wrong with my installation or is this a standard limitation to the plugin? I switched to Blue3 and got the same results although the display looked different.

Could you please recreate the error and post your logs? (MediaPortal.log & Error.log) With the logs I can hopefully determine whats going on.

Here are the log files. A couple other issues I found:

The Blue3 XML file for 4:3 aspect ratio has the background images set to 1280 x 720 in 2 or 3 places. I went through the file and corrected them to 800 x 600 for my version. Before, the image would be half off the screen, now I can see the whole thing.

The NetFlix logo doesn't show up on the menu when using the aMPed skin. It works when using Blue3.
