Do you really see the same info when you select a series? Doesn't it show episode/season info if you click it?

Doesn't it show the same info when more then one season is available? I'll have to look again later.

Alternative xmls are a nice touch! I will try to contribute when it gets hot. :)

    Hi ErCa,

Open MP Configuration and in General you should make sure "Start With basichomescreen" is selected. Let me know if it helps.

    best regards
    cul8er

Yes cul8er, I got some pics, only thing is, i took it with my mobilephone camera.

The program i use to take screenshots, does not shot the screen when mp is in fullscreen.
    So i took my camera.

Here is when you see the basic home. This is when i calibirated the gui some pix to the left, i saw suddenly this.

    screen01vdn.jpg

The time here is oke, it is 0:00 1:00

    screen02.jpg

Now this picture is with a time of 23:45 0:05

    screen03y.jpg

And now here it is 13:00 14:30

    screen05.jpg

So when i calibirate the screen back

    screen06.jpg

And go back to tv home i see the time fall out of the screen.

    screen08.jpg

So it looks like, it depends what time it is, if the time falls off the screen.
I hope you get what i mean.

    I will say it again. X-Factor Rulezzzzzzz !!! :D

Also, when you look very closely at the first screenshot, you can see the RSS is coming out of the off-screen zone.

Jinux: You don't have a Print Screen button on your HTPC keyboard? Also, at what resolution are you running MediaPortal?

    cul8er,

I always find myself moving the current selected button to either side when I want to read the news ticker.

I know nothing of XML, but I manage to find the reference to the bottom image of the button and remove it. It´s a lot easier to read the ticker now.

    Thanks!

Maybe this looks like a big challenge

Does it matter what resolution the skin is on, for the time falling off the screen, or not ?

Yes shift printscreen, but in what folder does the screenshot go.

After you've pressed "Print screen", open Paint or if you have another image creation app and go to Edit->Paste and the screenshot should appear. But I understand that MediaPortal has a built in Screenshot function, but I don't know what button to use. I'm guessing F12 and this way, the output should appear somewhere in your Mediaportal directory.

Edit: Your screenshot there looks like it's in 4:3 format. Are you using a CRT 16:9 TV? The skin is made to fit a true 16:9 display. A CRT will give you a 4:3 image stretched to fit the 16:9 format. Unfortunately, you're bound to end up stuff not properly aligned.

In MediaPortal, F11 can be used to capture a screen. It will be saved in My Pictures under MediaPortal directory.

I installed yesterday this skin and it is great.

Uhm, sorry for the noob question here, but in the install instructions you say to import the .psd file. Where exactly do I do that in MP-TVSeries?

I've seen this question, but no answer.

I've got the same noob question.

question2. Tvgemist. I can't see it at the plugins. Is it already working?

    Hi mknoppert,

Nice to hear you like the skin.

    About the import of the .psd files, I don't think that is necessary anymore so I think you can skip this step. If you do want to import the files you do this;
    1. Open MP Configuration
    2. Goto Plugins
    3. Select MPTVSeries and choose configuration
    4. Select tab Logos and press Import (then select the logo psd file)
    5. Select tab Formatting and press Import (then select the logo psd file)

TVGemist support is part of the next release of this skin that will be released tomorrow ;)

    cheers
