Well, good morning, i thought i'd install the skin again fresh, so i did.
I got rid of the cache files, and the xfactor folder, got to google code and downloaded these files.

Installed them, but exactly the same problem.
Maybe i will try installing MP again and try to use the tv server, the only thing is, when i use that my tvguide is all peeped up.
But i think ill give it a try. I'll report back when it's done.

Yes, now i use the tv server, and everything works fine. I think i keep mp with tv server then, and figure out how to do my tvguide.

I still hope we can get x-factor to be selected by the MP team at some point as it would really open up the opportunity for you end users to post your updated/mods. I also like the VU meters and will contact Harley to see if we can use his meters in this skin also.

If it is changing texts in the basichome menu that you want this is supported by the new menu editor. I posted it in this forum a few posts back (in this thread). It will also be included in the next release (that will come soon).

I don't know if this is possible, for the Playlist view, would it be possible to replace the background image with the visualization and have the "player" on top? That would look awesome I think.

Ok, its working ok now, i had some problems, that mp just shuts down after 3 seconds, suddenly. But installed MP fresh again, and seems to be stable now.

I also changed the basichome.xml. And i have now tvgemist in the menu.

I just used the xfactor plugin to add a menuitem in the menu. Like tv recordings. Then i opened basichome.xml with notepad.
I looked for the Menu 3 submenu button 2, this was where i put the tv recordings. Then i just changed the hyperlink to 6799 and the label to tv gemist.

I installed the tvgemist plugin, and downloaded the tvgemist files for the xfactor skin.
Everything works beautifully

Yes Yes cool cool, the new visualization

I also have found a little bug, at least i think. On the TVhome screen, with the little remote on the left. I see the channel info. And the time 14:00 - 14:50. This time line is on the right. It is off screen. Do you also have that ?

When i calibirate the screen and make it smaller, then the time is not off the screen. But then the skin is smaller then the screen. I mean. The time exceeds the skin on the right.

Maybe its me, someone must have the same thing ?

i've updated the ShowTimes Plugin. It contains a new skin for Xfactor, take a look...
I've added GUI properties so you are free to show info Wherever you want (like in movingpicture). I've added filmstrip view, also.

No main screen

Hi

I think this skin look awesome but i can´t get it to work.

When i start MP the background is black and i only got text in an vertical list.
I followed the instructions given and put all the files in the MP folder but i could not import "xfactor TVSeries Logos.psd" for TVSeries.

Sending a picture of how it looks like.
Hope anyone can help.

Hi ErCa,

Open MP Configuration and in General you should make sure "Start With basichomescreen" is selected. Let me know if it helps.
