I am playing with a thought about animation of the main menu bar. It looks already very good with the fading effect.
Is there a possiblillity that you could make a kind of a 'zoom-effect'. that the selected menu or menu-item is increased in size a little bit or maybe even together with the picture in it.... For best looks you have to play around a bit ofcourse... If it is technically possible like this, I this would look really smooth / slick.

Well, this is just going through my mind... If you want to (or can) do something with it is up to you. Again.. Thank you for the awseom work!!!

What you suggest sounds very interesting and I will look into it. I did however not have time to include it in this release as it is now allready available for download.

Thank you for your question. I have not implemented fanart for neither myVideos or myMusic. The reason for this is all the posts in different forums compaining that using fanart in these plugins are a really RAM (memory) killer. If this is not the case I will considder adding support, but I do not want to add something that prevent some users from using the xfactor skin (the skin is allready quite "heavy").

hi Cul8er ! how abut to mack extra xml with fan art ,and any user that wont and have no ram problem can do so ,
other skins also give this option , for me i use in my music abut 200 fan art ..no problem at all ...just an idea
and thank you for this great skin .

I haven't used MP in a while and before that I switched back to StreamedMP, but now I am going to use MP in my living room and I have seen your new screenshots, rrrreally like it!

1 question:

9. (Optional) The installation zip file only contains a small number of images. To add images and get a higher experience from the skin add your own immages to the "Animation\xx" subfolders. For example add TVSeries backdrops to the tvseries subfolder.

Where do I get those images? doesn't TVSeries plugin download them automatically?

thanks for the improvements in the new version of xfactor. i like the new position of the playing now window.
i've some little remarks/questions:

• in last.fm i miss the name of the interpret - just the title is shown. if i played something before, e.g. in my music or youtube.fm the name of the last interpret played there is shown.
• in the last version longer names of weather conditions in the basic home scrolled through, now this isn't anymore (see attachement)
• is it possible to start youtube.fm in list view (tried to change myself - but without success)

The menu editor should look like this;

In the file "common.basichome.weather.xml" that is in your skin\xfactor folder you can find all occurences of this line;
<scrollStartDelaySec>7200</scrollStartDelaySec>
and remove it. Then you will get scrolling. Or keep the line and set the value to 50 or something...

Moving Pictures and TVSeries downloads fanart automatically. Images you manually put in the Animation folder is just to have them available in the basichome screen when selecting different menues or subitems.
