I am running the new tv engine with SVN file 10-23. I have just download and installed Zap2ItPlugin-v1.7-MPvSVN-20061023.zip and am hoping this will work.
I will let you guys know what I come up with.

Hi, stupid question - is there a situation whereby the guide data doesn't match some of the channels properly? I'm using the Features release, and 2.0's channel database (copied it over), and the 1.7MP stable zap2it epg plugin.
Just wondering if I have to rebuilt the channels database from scratch using Scan channels (so slow), or whether it's just broken in 0.2.1 and it won't matter what I do.
Thanks,

I'm a little confused what you mean but heres a shot.
Canada
27/10/2006 10:40:24 PM 203 [Info.] Channel WHDH was found as 7 ASN in EPG mapping database
27/10/2006 10:40:24 PM 265 [Info.] Could not find a match for ASN/7
27/10/2006 10:40:24 PM 281 [Info.] Could not find a match for CBHT/11
Ch 12 is already in MP as "12 WHDH" and ch 11 isn't used at all, not sure why it's making the wrong choices.

Its not really that it is making the wrong choices, it is that
there is an existing EPG Mapping entry and the the plugin always
assumes this is the correct mapping and will not try to match
it to anything else.
Can you try backing up you channel list in the MP configuration.exe
Television->TV Channels->Backup and save to an xml file.
Clear all your channels
Then Restore your channels from then backup file.
it's unclear why it can't match ch11, it seems it's using the OTA channel (in another country & state, I might add), to match it incorrectly to channel 7. This seems like a possible mistake in zip2it's information, as the channel in question is not available OTA in my location. See the PasteBin for the full log.
