JBravo,
Thanks for the great plugin to keep my Server alive while a client is connected. However still trying to get it to work.

Question #1,
When i installed the first PowerScheduler.dll Version 1.0.2.19433 74k it let me go upto 100K and it showed it in the logs no issues as far as i can see,
However then I saw you had a new posted a newer version with 1000K( PowerScheduler.dll Version 1.0.0.23835)however when i installed that one i receive an error as attached below.

Question #2 i see there are also some patches and other dll files in there it would be nice to know where they go and what version to use them with?
I am sure its just an install error on my part i am just newer to Media Portal and still getting my feet wet.

I have posted new patches for MP 1.0.2 please try them instead. The .dll's are dependent on the MP version installed.

The PowerScheduler.dll is for the PS TV server plugin, and adds the network monitor function.

The other two .dll's are for the PS Client plugin, and adds functionality to keep the tv server alive when the MP client is running.

    PowerScheduler(using SVN 22555) MP 1.0.2

Thank you for your response however i guess i am a bit confused.
I have downloaded and installed the files on the first post (PowerScheduler(using SVN 22555).zip)
and all the files in that post are as follows.i still only see 100K in my Network Monitor Tab i cannot go any higher then that. Is it possible to go higher using MP1.0.2 to say 5 meg or something like that?

Question #2 What do i do with the 2 files call *.patch do i rename them or put them in a specific directory's on the server and client P.C's?
Sorry for my ignorance as i am still fairly new to Media Portal.

    clientPlugin_keep_alive(using SVN 22555).patch
    serverPlugin_network_monitor(using SVN 22555).patch
    PowerScheduler.dll
    PowerScheduler.Interfaces.dll
    PowerSchedulerClientPlugin.dll
    :(

    Thanks,
    ccna

You can ignore the .patch files. The .patch files contains the source code.

The max limit is currently 100, I will crank it up the next time I post the patches.

    Hi all,

Just came across this patch - very nice!! Good work guys!! Please make sure it's in MP1.1:D

I've been dabbling with netexplorers nasclient/server solution to try and achieve what this seems to do very well!!

I'm having a couple of glitches which I'll investigate further before posting (as they may be nothing to do with this patch!), but I like the way this feature integrates well into MP 1.0.2.

One suggestion - for those odd occasions when a server (which may be a TV server or just a mediaserver with files on) doesn't wake up, how about a "Wake Up Server(s)" button somewhere on the home screen? Pressing the button would send WOL to all configured servers.

    Cheers
    ...Steve

is there anyway to prevent power scheduler from shutting down when someone is browsing files on the computer with the latest mediaportal (1.1 beta)?
