Picture-in-picture (1 Viewer)

I just installed MP 2.4.1. Picture-in-picture was working in 2.4 (although just lately I was not getting audio with the second picture), but it is not working now. Has anyone else experienced this?

Can you explain exactly what you did? E.g. started a movie and then play a mp3 in PiP mode. What exactly was not working as expected?
If possible please add screenshot (in case something is visible) and log files. There there no changes between MP2.4 and MP2.4.1, that have a relation of PiP.

Ok, Apologies: I see that I have to click on the little rectangle in the program box before picture-in-picture is activated. I am using it for ota television (with a Hauppauge Win TV-quadHD tuner). Video is working picture-in-picture, however, I cannot get sound for the second picture when I switch to it. Have tried everything. I get two LAV decoder interfaces coming up, and Status shows them both active. However, I can not get audio for the second, until I exit picture-in-picture. Thanks, N.

I tested following scenario: Playing liveTV and started a video file in PiP mode. The video starts playing concurrently in the small PiP window. If I turn on audio in the PiP controls I can hear audio of the video file, while TV is still playing in the foreground. Toggeling between both players is also working.

As a result I do not find any issues, could you please try again. You need to turn on audio for the PiP video after starting it (see screenshot).

Please upload log files and specify the video you are playing (video format).

Log files attached. Video is ota television via Hauppauge quad tuner card. Also, the IR remote has never worked for me with MP2 (see my previous posts), only mute and volume (works fine with WinTV), so anything that you can tell me about that by looking at the log files would be much appreciated. PiP means 2 streams are involved. One is TV, this I got from the earlier posts, but what is the 2nd media you try to play concurrently? Are both TV-streams?
The logs are in INFO level, can you se them to DEBUG. There is an error after pressing the audio button, maybe the debug logs show more.

Both media streams are tv. The tuner card can tune up to four stations simultaneously I'll figure out the DEBUG and send along...

I'm sorry, but I may need help with generating the DEBUG log. I don't find anything on the site specific to MP2. Can you point me to something? Thanks much.
