Picture Thumbnail Generation rework (1 Viewer)

Ok, i have to say a little bit more i noticed:

i have delete all music thumb from configuration / klick button
i delete all thumbs in "\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache"
i delete all thumbs in "\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Music"

i open mp-music and all albums have thumbs except the albums from ~ the last week. am i right, that no album should have thumbs for now?

nothing happend with a folder of cover tagged mp3 too.....

It seems that MP scan 'temp' folder but why ? this is strange

ok, thumbs are now created again, but only for the albums i have for longer time. the 4 albums i have new since a few days have no cover thumb again.

there is no different in the tags. there is no difference in security options for the files.

I have commit a fix (22-04-2013 evening) about thumbnail recently, but i don't know if it was already include in your scythe branch test

1) mp config -> GUI -> Thumbnails -> all klicked for delete
2) Users\Mike\AppData\Local\Temp -> all delete as i noticed that there where about 1 gig /1000 temp files
3) ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Music -> all folders are empty...
4) ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache -> cleared
5) ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\log -> cleared
6) mp config -> music -> music database -> update database from selected share

7) now i have about 4000 temp files (1gb) in Users\Mike\AppData\Local\Temp
8) when i open mp, all 'old' albums have cover, the new one nothing again[DOUBLEPOST=1366976118][/DOUBLEPOST]lol. the thumbs where created from the folder.jpg although i didnt activate this in config. thats the reason the old albums get a thumb.

so i can say, without an existing folder.jpg there where no thumb creation at all..

I think, the tmp files are for the thumb creation?

i did a further test with no luck, but noticed i have now about 3gb files in the user/appdata/temp folder .. :-/
i think, they where not deleted after the process of thumbnailing aborted.. ?!

I will check this myself later, although I would have assumed if it was putting temp files there, they would be jpg.
