I think random is random. It will show a random picture next, rather than generating a list of all pictures in a random order so that it only shows each one once.

I think i'm agree too, so what is the normal behaviour, if we don't select repeat option, all 3 pictures should be play in random and back to list of pictures ?
I remember working on this and that not easy

Ok i just try and it's random for sure but on my 2 tests i just made :

3 Pictures in folder :
Start Recursive slideslow :
On first : 2 sames pictures are displayed and new one -> stop.
On second : 3 sames pictures are displayed and stop.

So for sure it's not ok, it should random all pictures (in random) but should displayed all and that not the case.

Well, we're not going to fix everything for 1.4.0, and I suspect if you fix that, a new bug will crop up. Just need to get them into mantis for now.

OK, but this is a new bug in 1.4 - I tried 1.3 a few times without this behaviour.

You mean the randomness? I won't contradict you, but that is very surprising. There is nothing in mantis that would indicate that this has been changed. So in 1.3.0 is will always cycle through all of the pictures, but in a random order with no repeating?
