Hi,
Attach your system specification & logs to your post, we will be guessing on solution without information. Btw movies from HDD works fine here using cyberlink as codecs
tehre is nothing in the log file, already lookt over there, if i use rc2 with powerdvd codec it works perfectly but when i go to rc3 than nothing is happaning when i try to play a dvd from hd it doesn't crash olso.
Hi,
Well no log = no solution(it works here so i can't confirm the issue either), mediaportal.log will tell if something isn't started when selected & give a error code
i'm not taling about iso or avi (avi is not a dvd format) files, talking about the ifo files from a dvd on hdd, if i push on them nothing happens with tc2 it works fine

Hi,
The complete log will tell more, like codecs used, skin used etc which may explain why you have problem & not me. Since you're not adding required information theres really not much we can do......
Btw, the error code it's much likely pin not connected, but to what i dunno

In Codecs and Render, try selecting the specific audio device rather than "Default DirectSound device"

If this doesn't work, I...

I bought Fight Club from an op shop (Goodwill to you yanks) but my PC reads the DVD as a folder. Both media players wouldn't run it, so I tried running it in MP2. However, when I play it, MP2 crashes to desktop (I think the debug log said it was a "fatal exception" or something). Can anyone please help?
