I'm guessing there is some kind of predecessor i'm missing here...

I've installed the pluggin, and when I press P, nothing happens.

Running MP 1.1.1.0

Exat the same problem here.

MP 1.2.0 Alpha
Skin: StreamedMP

Are you using also MP 1.2.0.

If not it's skin related.

And I have another problem. When I'm typing an URL with the keyboard, the p in http (which has to be there, otherwise it is an invalid URL) opens the virtual board again. So it is not possible to type an URL only with a keyboard.

Are You using the mouse-mode?
Then you have to press CTRL-P

BrowseTheWeb is not skin compatible with 1.2.0, it will need fixing by the plugin author, though it does partially work in that a web page can be opened via infoservice just no bookmarks or status/link info.

Works fine with MP 1.1.2.

So up to the ID links now everything works fine. Could you even fit in with the Skinfiles ?

The skin only handles status and link-id as entered on the remote and shown at the bottom of the screen (with status panel enabled in plugin options). The skin has nothing to do with link-ids that are shown on web page urls these are handled internally by the plugin.

Have you got "use mouse to browse" enabled? If you do then it will not show link IDs.

Mouse mode is and was disabled.

Also a reinstall changed nothing.
I'm using Win7 SP1 64bit.


I'm using the Logitech DiNovo Mini, and it has no F-keys. So in the mouse mode I'm not able to get the bookmarks (key F3) or go back (F7) ... .
It is possible to modify the plugin, so that the shortcuts for mouse mode can be changed (e.g. bookmarks CTRL+L, ...), please?
