    Working good.

    1. Your plugin deletes now only a whole series. I think it is good idea to do the same check for episodes and delete the then not needed episodes pictures.

fischy667, have uploaded a new version of the plugin which will scan also for TVSeries episodes and delete those images that are not found in the database. For the rest of the suggestions, will try to implement in the future releases.

    Thanks (y)

Thanks for putting in the episode thumbnail deletion!! :ROFLMAO:

One my first PC everything is working fine, but I have a problem with me second PC.

On my second PC nothing from series will be deleted.

I created a new TVSeries database with only one element: Bild 000.
In the folder "MPTVSeriesBanners" losts of stuff is left. Bild 001
After starting MP nothing is deleted although deletion for the TVSeries plugin is activated. "MPCleaner.xml"

    I also attached the MediaPortal.log.
I took a quick look into it, and I see that your plugin whats to delete pictures that were related to MovingPictures. But I didn't found similar lines for TVSeries.

Edit: After the comparison of my two machines it looks like that the MovingPictures part never ends. In the log is no "MPCleaner: processing movingpictures - complete" line as on my working PC.

Edit 2: Yes this is the problem. After disabling the MovingPictures part in MPCleaner it is working for TVSeries.

EDIT 3: I found the problem. The MovingPictures database was empty. No film inside. After putting one film in, everything is working fine, even with MovingPictures enabled in MPCleaner. So an empty database causes some trouble.

    Hi,

Does the plugin work with MP 1.2.2? For me it is displayed as incompatible plugin. The first version of the program has worked!
    Thanks!

    *update*

    with MP 1.2.3 it works!!!

Just thought I'd reiterate the request for features:
Might be worth adding a schedule to run daily/weekly/monthly or sum such, and an option to run if idle...

SpudR, the changes requested are in progress and nearly completed. Unfortunately on Tuesday I had an issue with my boot drive, it decided to die on me.....(n). Now am in the process of rebuilding my development/test setup and will continue with these changes. Today I managed to install the OS, now it's a painstaking task to install all the software, but will arrive there soon :D

Hi all, I'm back after the technical glitch mentioned above :D

Have uploaded a new version of the plugin which does the following:
    1. Currently this version caters for MovingPictures and MP-TVSeries.
    2. This version will also cleanup TVSeries Episode thumb nails whose respective episode was deleted.
    3. A scheduler has been included as suggested by SpudR to select when plugins should run.
    4. Fixed error reported by fischy667.
You can download plugin from the repository indicated on post #1
