I'm having a problem with wakeup/standby of MP using PS++
1.2.2.1 with MP 1.2.2_FINAL. The Sky UK Channel and EPG Grabber
plugin is also running.

The problem is that when I wakeup the system from standby MP
loads OK but then the system returns to standby after a few
seconds. Repeating wakup a few seconds later usually result in a
proper wakup with no immediate standby (but sometimes more than
one retry is needed). Any ideas on why this might be happening?

Could you send me a full (uncut) log? And you should reboot your system - the log shows many "zombie" client connections that result from client crashes.

Michael, thanks for your quick reply. I rebooted and then cleared the tv log before starting up MP again. The first startup was OK. This was followed by three immediate returns to standby after wakeup. New full log attached.

It seems to me that you did not enable the PS++ client plugin in MP configuration. If I should be wrong please send me full logs (all logs uncut and not cleared before...).

Yes, I can confirm that PS++ was enabled in MP configuration. I had similar problems last evening but none when I restarted this morning so it seems erratic. I shall experiment over the weekend and let you have the full uncut log in due course. Many thanks.

As I watched a movie on maxdome (via maxdome plugin) my computer entered standby
after the configured time. Of course I didn't want it to enter standby when watching a movie.
Can someone tell me which process I have to choose as exception for standby?

I assume that the maxdome plugin is no process of its own but runs as part of the MP client process. So you could only put the MP client in the processes list, which does not make much sense. You should contact the writer of the maxdome plugin and ask him to modify his plugin so that it prevents standby while watching videos.

I'm having a minor problem when playing movies.
When a movie ends the system seems to enter away mode because the screen blanks.
Pressing any key solves the problem and mp comes back to life but I wonder how to prevent that.
I unchecked the away mode option in windows settings but that didn't help.
I attached a log where the system did what I described.
I am grateful for any hint....
