is there any particular log or debug mode you want or is the watchdog enough?

We should tr ynot to mix up various problems. The original point was that your system did not go to sleep by Windows. I think that this is covered by the first the first part of the logs. I also see no reason why your system is not going to sleep all alone when it is idle. But you should examine this because otherwise we will do hard in analysing PS++. So I would recommend to set the PS++ server plugin to Plug&Play mode (only to get clean Windows power settings), then deactivate PS++ server plugin (or tvservice) and not run MP client and not run anything else in the network (I often noticed open shares in the logs). Your system should then go to sleep after the configured idle time (do not set it too long for testing;)). If this is working we can proceed to step 2; if not you have to do a deeper examination what is wrong. Step 2: Deactivate EPG grabbing (only to be sure it does not hold up sleep), activate PS++ (Plug&Play mode) and wait. Should be the same as before - system goes to sleep after the idle time.

    Hi michael_t

I have a problem and it´s seeming, that no other has the same problem :)
On Saturday I moved to MePo 1.3.0.0 and PS++ 1.3.0.0. All looks fine, but:
If I start the MePo client, the computer doesn´t go to standby.
It doesn´t matter what I configure in MCE Standby Tool and PS++ .
Once I close the client, the computer goes to standby.

Manually standby via remote control (when client is aktiv) is possible, but after wakeup from standby the computer never goes to standby.

    powercfg -request shows nothing.

I have only changed the TV-card (old Hauppauge HVR-2200 MC, new Digital Devices Cine CT V6 & DuoFlex CT) and the HDDs (old WD eco green 3TB, new 2 WD AV-GP 3TB).

Do you have any idea, what is wrong in my config?

    Best regards
    Markus 'coolhand70'

PS: If I describe my problem in a to bad english, I can send you via german PM :)

Please send logs of the situation - and don't use things like MCE Standby Tool;)

OK, I create the Log when I´m back @ home.

But I remember, that MST was recommended for MePo 1.2.x and PS++.

This cannot happen unless you have setup your pc that it goes to hibernate when you press the on/off button on your remote control. You definitively have to map all user actions to sleep mode (S3), then a power off will not goto standby when a recording is active.

One question: What does happen when I press on/off on my remote and there is a recording scheduled in 5 or 10 minutes, will it send my machine to standby?
The reason I ask is that I think that if there will be a recording within the next 10 minutes I do not want my machine go to standby. So my feature request would be to be able to configure this time frame.

    I think:
PS++ should get a "away" status from the MePo client and after the recording the machine should go to standby.
    (if configured in PS++)

Yes, I think it should not go to standby but to away mode if there will be a recording in the next n minutes.
And the n should be configurable.
