Power scheduler doesn't turn on for record. This isn't every time. If you look at 22-03-2007 08:13:32 in the log you can see why. But i don't know why this happens. Cause a program was set to record the same day later on. Do i need other logs?

But thanks for the great work :)

    Hi,

There's currently a known bug in PowerScheduler which causes several recording types not to wakeup the system. Hopefully I find the time soon to fix these.

    Kind regards,
    Michel

    Hello,

Yesterday encountered the same problem. I noticed that the powerscheduler was set to wake the computer up at 31-12-1999 although recordings were in place.
Just fixed this (at least on my computer) by deleting the watchdog.dll in de process plugin directory. Now the wake up time is set again to the time of the next recording.

    kind regards,
    Ruud.

I'm also having this problem that the PC isn't waking up for a recording and the wakeup time is also set to 31-12-9999. A recording was scheduled at 18:20. The recording type is "everytime on this channel". Did a quick test with a recording type "once on this channel" and the wake up time was set correct.

I think the power scheduler checks every so often to see if there is any scheduled recordings, and sets the wake up events accordingly. Now I'm not sure how often this is done, but I have found if you schedule a recording, and then put the pc straight in to standby, the scheduler hasn't had time to check the scheduled recordings, and thus no wake up event is set. Unfortunately most people testing this will do just that, set a recording, put the pc on stand by and wait!!

Try leaving it a while before putting it into standby. Also to whoever is responsible for the scheduler, perhaps if you could trap when a standby happens, and set wake up events then..

Please read the wiki! DON'T put the system into standby manually, but let the PowerScheduler do this! Manually putting the system into suspend/hibernate is not supported currently!

PowerScheduler sets the wakeup times good according to the logs, but the PC doesn't wakeup, Windows Task Scheduler comes out of hibernate without problems.

No errors are found in the logs. Or any other strange things.

    Logs are like this:

    1.Setting wakeup time: OK
    2.Hibernating by PowerScheduler: OK
3.Wakeup time passes and PC doesn't wake up

4.Manually wake up the PC and recording starts.

    Using latest SVN

I always let power scheduler standby the computer, but the startup time is set for the year 31-12-9999 23:58:59 according to the logs

Then it somehow doesn't detect your recordings (and picks the very latest wakeup time). Would be good to see a verbose log output, so we can see if PowerScheduler actually finds any pending recordings then...
