Do you have any suggestions about my problem? Wake up time is set correct by PS with latest build but PC doesn't wake up. In the logs is everything set like it should be and there are no errors.

Previous builds(before the fix) set the wake up time wrong but recordings of type "Once" worked and the PC also woke up.

    No idea,

The code setting the wakeup time hasn't changed lately.

I have run that app and that works just fine. Windows task scheduler work also.

Everything seems to be ok, but perhaps this isn't right:
    08-04-2007 21:59:21 PowerScheduler.NextWakeupTime: inspecting handler:GenericWakeupHandler time:31-12-9999 23:59:59

System shutdown on its own but didn't wake up at 22.05.

Then it somehow doesn't detect your recordings (and picks the very latest wakeup time). Would be good to see a verbose log output, so we can see if PowerScheduler actually finds any pending recordings then...

I have been checking the logs, and to me it seems like it finds normal recordings and wakes up for them, but all reoccuring recordings it doesn't find and doesn't wake up for them for some reason.

normal i have a fair few reoccuring recodins but not single, and i don't think it ever wakes up for them, but during the easter i has loads of single recodings too, and it seems to wake up for all of them(all of the single ones).

The times when it should have worken up it the time in the log is 31-12-9999 23:59:59 if there is no single recordins in the future, and the time for the next single recoding if one or more excist.

    Did this perhaps help?

I'm not using newest SVN, i using the one just before last database update. I can't see that anything have been changed on the powerscheduler. But if changing to newest SVn should solve the problem i'll do that.

The "only wakeup for schedule type once" issue has been fixed as of rev# 13754, 02-04-2007. Since that fix, AFAIK all other types of recordings (workingdays/weekends/weekly/every ...) should function ok too. If not, I'd like to see a proper and clear detailed bugreport describing the exact issue (indicating what schedule type, when it was due, attach tv.log (extensive logging on)).

Otherwise it all goes on the pile called "it doesn't work" which isn't likely gonna fix the issue (if there is one at all). Don't get me wrong, I do value every report. But I need clear and detailed explanations in case there is an issue to get an idea what might be the problem.

    Thanks for understanding,
    Michel

    PS:
    Code:
    PowerScheduler.NextWakeupTime: inspecting handler:GenericWakeupHandler time:31-12-9999 23:59:59
This is just telling me that the PowerScheduler client plugin in MediaPortal has no desired wakeup time set currently (i.e. doesn't want to wakeup the system at a specific time).

The log that I attached isn't sufficient? When using XP MCE it didn't wakeup (although everything is set correct in the log), now that I installed Vista Ultimate x86, it wakes up but immediately hibernates/stanby again.

Then I'll post full logs when I get home.

Didn't know that this problem had been fixed. I'll install a version of the tv-server after this fix. Sorry for not seeing this solution. And if i doesn't work still i'll make a new post with all logs :)

But thanks for the great work and support
