I can confirm that it didnt wake up for a one time recording done via TV-Guide. Will invest more and post logs.
What I can say so far is that the TVserver itself sees the recording and its correct time but the powerschedulerclientplugin sets to 31.12.9999.

Using rev 13771 i saw the same problem last night. looked in the logs. And it was set to turn on for a recording last night, everything looked fine, but didn't turn on. I'll post logs when i get home, that is if i can, it looked like it had discarded some of the log (the wakeup part). Else i'll see later today(where is should turn on again) and i'll post those logs if problem still presist.

    But logs are comming :)

    Already mentioned!

    Thanks for understanding,
    Michel

    PS:
    Code:
    PowerScheduler.NextWakeupTime: inspecting handler:GenericWakeupHandler time:31-12-9999 23:59:59
This is just telling me that the PowerScheduler client plugin in MediaPortal has no desired wakeup time set currently (i.e. doesn't want to wakeup the system at a specific time).

I'm having the same problems. Unfortunately my logs are useless since the server only keeps the last two logs, which is a problem when logging is restarted when the server is restarted or when the server config tool is started. I've attached the two (but useless :D) logs I have.

I will try to disable reinitialization of the server after resume from standby in order to preserve the logs.

    I'll be back...

I got a log now. It seems to be the same problem as others are experiencing. Last line in server log:

Let me know if more information is required :)

I just disabled the checkbox on the power plugin "reintizialize service on wakeup..." and what happend PC woke up without problems on its own.

Could perhaps this be the problem that only seems to happen when the checkbox is enabled??

    Hi,

Thanks, this info was very helpful. Since the TVController gets reinitialized, also all plugins get reinitialized, so the PowerScheduler the timer controlling standby gets reinitialized, too. (It has nothing todo with the standby/wakeup handlers being removed, though).

I'll try to look into a fix somewhere next week (kind of short in time currently).

    Kind regards,
    Michel
