Display:
Geen .

Systeem:
[DRIVER] Oude kernel-aanroeper

Awaymode:
Geen .
I can only remove that message at systeem by stopping the TV-Service.

Any Idea?

It seems to be a driver that prevents system idle timeout; probably the driver of the tv card. You can try to disable such unwanted requests by calling powercfg with the -REQUESTSOVERRIDE parameter, but I have no experience with this.

Code:
Sets a Power Request override for a particular Process, Service,
or Driver. If no parameters are specified, this command displays
the current list of Power Request Overrides.

Usage: POWERCFG -REQUESTSOVERRIDE
Specifies one of the following caller type:
PROCESS, SERVICE, DRIVER. This is obtained by
calling the POWERCFG -REQUESTS command.
Specifies the caller name. This is the name
returned from calling POWERCFG -REQUESTS command.
Specifies one or more of the following Power
Request Types: Display, System, Awaymode.
Example:
POWERCFG -REQUESTSOVERRIDE PROCESS wmplayer.exe Display System

Re: [New Plugin] PowerScheduler++ (New Version 1.2.0.8)

Hello!

Yesterday i tried your plugin, all seems to be OK, but after trying to play video, TV, MediaPortal Crash with the dialog box "stopped working, close"

After many tryes, i uninstall Powersheduler++, but the problem is allways here.
Today i tried to desactivate most of the severals plugins i use in MP, like MovingPictures, TV series, IFC, minidisplay, etc, and i can find the problem, that minidisplay cause MP crash since i've installer this plugin.

Questions, Why the uninstall of your plugin dosen't really unistall all your plugin?
Why this plugin change minidisplay to minidisplay++ ?
Is there a way to refind my minidisplay like before plugin install?

What are the files in minidisplay plugin that are changed?
Why after uninstall, in TV server configuration, in the powersheduler i still find the powersheduler++ options

Hope you can help me!

I use the MPExtensionMaker to build the installation file. I do not know how the MP extension installer saves old configurations / files and restores them after uninstall. I just rely on the features provided... To be sure to restore MP to the "factory default" you should uninstall and then reinstall both MP client and server.
The files changed for PowerScheduler++ are:
  • MediaPortal\PowerScheduler.Interfaces.dll
  • MediaPortal\plugins\process\PowerSchedulerClientPlugin.dll
  • MediaPortal TV Server\PowerScheduler.Interfaces.dll
  • MediaPortal TV Server\Plugins\PowerScheduler.dll
During installation of PowerScheduler++ you can choose if you want to install the optional minidisplay functions or not (default is not). The files changed for minidisplay are:
  • MediaPortal\minidisplaylibrary.dll
  • MediaPortal\plugins\process\processplugins.dll
  • minidisplay.xml
PowerScheduler++ uses the same options in tv server configuration as PowerScheduler since it is designed as a replacement for PowerScheduler, not as an additional independent plugin. If you still find PowerScheduler++ as a tv server plugin after uninstall the uninstall did not work correctly. If it were successful you should see the original PowerScheduler plugin again.

Re: [New Plugin] PowerScheduler++ (New Version 1.2.0.8)

Hello!

Thanks for your answer, i've just restored the 3 files (thanks WHS) of minidisplay and my ImonLCD is now OK, I think there is a problem in one of the files.

For PowerSheduler++, i've make unistall successfull with the MPInstaller, but in TV Server configuration, i've allways the ++ version!

In the MP configuration, the powersheduler came back to official version.

In fact, i would like to test your plugin because the reboot option interrest me.

I've noticed a little problem in MP since the plugin install/uninstall, sometimes when i launch MP, he goes directely in standby, before MP goes to home page? A solution?

Thanks

I hope your plugin be stable because it's very interresting!

The problem with server uninstall is that the tvservice has to be stopped before you can change files. Since 1.2.0 Alpha there is a bug in the tvservice that it does not handle service stop requests. So I assume that this is also the reason why your PowerScheduler++ server files are not removed. You could try to stop the tvservice before uninstalling PowerScheduler++; maybe this helps.

Please first try to get a consistent installation (both client and server with PowerScheduler++). If the problem still exists, send logs.

AW: [New Plugin] PowerScheduler++ (New Version 1.2.0.8)

First i want to say that i am very happy about this plugin because it is easy to use and solves my problem of prevented standbys.

As a hint i recommend the use in combination with MPStandbyHandler. So you can perform a controlled stop and restart of MediaPortal. Without MPStandbyHandler MediaPortal often crashes after a standby.

But i have also a question: when i check the box "Server forces ... when idle" the system is shutdown after the selected time while showing a picture or playing music. It seems that these functions are detected as idle. Is it possible to integrate the option from the original powerscheduler to shutdown when MediaPortal is on the homescreen for x minutes ?

In the MP client showing pictures / slideshows is not considered as busy, which is a bug and will be fixed in some of the next 1.2.0 betas (see discussion here).
Playing music should definitely prevent a standby, independent from the screen, if you have enabled the PowerScheduler client plugin. If you experience problems here try to reproduce them and send me logs.
BTW: In the PowerScheduler client setup you can choose to suspend only if MediaPortal is on the homescreen or not, like in the original PowerScheduler.

Re: [New Plugin] PowerScheduler++ (New Version 1.2.0.8)

You'll think i'm a little mad, but i tryed to reintall your plugin, successfully! but i've notice that MP dosen't go alone in standby mode when i'm in home screen after playing a video or watching TV, of course after stopping any videos.

Just after starting MP ,whitout doing anything, suspend works find, but doesn't work after opening a media.

    Help?

    Thanks
