Hi J.,

I am not at home the next days, so I will have a look at this on thursday; maybe you have some more logs for me then.

    Re : PowerScheduler++ Version 1.2.0.10 (RC1)

    Hi,

    Your plugin sounds great! Not yet tested but seems to have interesting function.

    One of the function I'm searching for my "mp tv server" is a way to keep the server on when a specific port is in use with a specific ip address.
    Actually, the server stay on when a mp client is on and go in sleep when all clients are off. But I'm also using a upnp media reader on my network and the upnp media server runs on the "mp tv server" machine! So I've got to let the server on to use my upnp media reader! The unpn reader is connected to the server by a specific port and it will be really interesting into the power scheduler plugin to say : "if this port is in use, I prevent standby".

    Is this kind of function already implemented?

    Thank you for your answer!

    Bye

    Re: PowerScheduler++ Version 1.2.0.10 (RC1)

    Hello,
    Just noticed an incorrect behaviour from PowerScheduler++:
    I was recording a movie (Ghost Dog) and pressed the standby button on my remote to tell the HTPC I'm away.
    Instead of waiting for the end of the recording, it went into suspend mode right away and woke up few minutes later :-(
    Logs attached. Thanks!

    Jay_UK:
    At the moment I have no idea what might have caused the connection problems. It would be great if you could send complete client and server logs when this happens again.

    helge:
    You need MPEI to install plugins. I do not know if there is a standalone installation of MPEI. If not, you have to install the whole MP client on the server machine to have it available there.

    TiboTv:
    Watching a port is not implemented in PS / PS++, but I think you could use the built in network monitoring for your purpose.

    spontex:
    I had a look in your tv server logs and saw that you are not using the latest version of PowerScheduler++. I cannnot say if that really matters for your problem but it would help me to analyse it, if you would update PS++. You should also raise the client's log verbosity to "Debug" and enable "Extensive Logging" at the PS++ client too. From the sent client logs I can only see that you seem to have a problem with your MP client (crashed around 22:19), but I cannot say if this led to the described failure at 23:11. To understand why your system suspended despite of away mode requested I would also ask you to run "powercfg /requests" from command prompt as administrator while a recording is active. It should show something like
    Code:
    ...
    AWAYMODE:
    [SERVICE] \Device\HarddiskVolume1\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPort
    al TV Server\TvService.exe (TVService)

    Re: PowerScheduler++ Version 1.2.0.10 (RC1)

    Hi there,

    I had any issue last night where I was watching TV, and simply presssed the off (standby) button on my remote. I came downstairs this morning and the HTPC was still on.

    I have attached my logs.

    The system is configured as:

    Single seat
    Windows7 x64
    MP1.2.0 (SVN 1.1.5.26688)
    Powerscheduler Forces standby after 10 minutes (S3 mode)
    Wakes up for various events
    Standby 0 to 24
    Nothing set for waking for EPG
    No standby and prevent power off for the following processes: SetupTV, Configuration, Comskip, BackupManager
    Nothing enabled for shares
    Prevent standby and power off for 2KBps Network usage
    Reboot at 4am on Tuesday and Friday

    I am using MPstandbyHandler to stop Mediaportal client on standby, and relaunch the clinet on resume.

    Many thanks, :D

    J.
