I need logs to tell you why your system did not reboot as expected. There is no "wakeup only" feature in PS or MP to schedule extra wakeups, but you can of course schedule dummy recordings or a music database reorg for the time needed.

I have a multiseat setup with a dedicated tv server and a seperate nas device for My TV Series and Moving pictures content.

Is it possible for the TV Server to only be woken when an MP client goes into My TV, and not be woken/kept awake when the MP client is in My TV Series or Moving Pictures?

There is a WOL option for the tv server in the MP config tool (TV - > TVClient), but I do not know if it only wakes up the server when you start using the tv plugin. Anyway, once the tv server is up, PS(++) wont let it suspend until the client is switched off / suspended.

I think the client wakes the server on resume without having to go into the TV plugin
Would it be possible to add options to allow the TV server to sleep if no tv plugins are active, even if MP clients are running?

yesterday on a single seat configuration, my girlfriend was using it to watch movies troug the onlinevideos plugin. but after 5 min the server went to standby again...

Hi,

Not sure if anybody may be able to help, though I currently have an issue with PowerScheduler++ not sending the computer into standby while in Away mode after a recording has finished.

e.g. I have finished watching TV for the night, there is still an active recording going so I click the PC off button on my MCE remote and the screen goes black (which I understand is when it's in Away mode) and the computer continues to tick away and record. The only problem is that it will keep the computer on and not send it into standby after the recording is finished.

Thanks for the help, hopefully somebody has seen this issue before.

EDIT: Forget my question. I have reinstalled my system and somehow forgot to install or installed wrong version. Installed 1.1.8.0 and now I can go to suspend also when watching live tv. Sorry wasted your time maybe and 2-3 hours of mine .

I can´t make my system go to suspend when watching live tv. Only if I stop live tv.

I have server and MP client on same pc. I have tried to remove the MP client plugin, but was already disabled and did not help.
I have not set any processes or EPG to prevent suspend. I really hope you can help me. I want it to go into away mode when i hit power off button if it is recording or recording is starting in a few minutes or there are a client connected , but guess the last one can be adjusted with the network activity dependency.

The log you provided is from the original PowerScheduler, not from PowerScheduler++. I do not know exactly how the old one is handling live tv. But it seems that it works like PowerScheduler++, which takes live tv as an activity preventing standby ("ControllerActiveHandler" in your logs). This is built in by default and cannot be changed. Watching media (tv, videos, pictures, ...) is always considered as activity that should not be disrupted automatically and I think this makes sense (imagine a movie that stops every 10 minutes because of an automatic suspend ...).

I have a problem with Powerscheduler ++. When watching a video, or film it thinks nothing is happening and hibernates. If you can let me know which log you need I'll post up. I couldn't see log specifically related to PowerScheduler++
