There are two ways to suspend a MP system: either the system suspends alone when it is idle(windows power settings) or the system is forced to suspend by PowerScheduler, that decides it is idle. This is the meaning of the checkbox on the Suspend/Wakeup tab; the time you can set here determines the idle timeout for Powerscheduler.

Your client log looks like you didn't activate "extensive logging" for PSClientPlugin. Could you please send new logs (no complete logs needed - mediaportal.log and tv.log are enough) and make sure that they cover the same time span (when you try to suspend the system).

Well, I do not kill the MP client, I only stop the player. Could you please send me the client logs (debug level/extensive logging) to check what is happening with your system? Is there any specific reason you kill off MePo (as opposed to just blanking the screen/muting the sound)? Would it be possible to keep MePo running (while in "away mode") or get MePo to launch when returning from "away mode"?
